If it makes you feel better I enjoyed trying to figure it out! Hell, half of Hashan doesn't know anyways haha.

The Divine voice of Twilight echoes in your head, "See that it is. I espy a tithe of potential in your mortal soul, Astarod Blackstone. Let us hope that it flourishes and does not falter as so many do."

Aegis, God of War says, "You are dismissed from My demense, Astarod. Go forth and fight well. Bleed fiercely, and climb the purpose you have sought to chase for."

I don't know who Saganan is an alt of but it was pretty obvious. Unable to die fully under lvl 30? Kept trying to drag Zsarach into Ashtan while abusing something. Finally just city enemied her.

Eleusian too eh?  I don't think she is a Scion (will log in and check).  If the admin confirm it was bug abuse, I'll gladly remove her from the House for what good that will do with a throwaway alt.  I remember seeing her die those times and assumed a Divine had been resurrecting her or a number of people with dolls of her + insta-staburst.

You can see the friendly game of ping pong that Farrah and I were playing towards the end there.

Sorry, @Trey. I got stupidity moved off clouds to Isle and then panic dashed right into Mhaldor defendable.

  • The amount of things that happened to Mila over the last few days is both idiotic, but interesting.

At least I finally got a reason to RP in Targossas though

Spontaneous RP is awesome, especially when not a single person involved has any idea where they are taking something, it just does, I hope I didn't stifle it too much :(.

People tonight have made me feel that I should be ashamed of my story and I've even been blocked on ct because I have been drinking and therefore should be silent and ashamed. Even the one person I trusted and thought highly of was ashamed of me because I had some wines. Well I am not ashamed and I am going to call you out people who think that you are privileged and superior to the rest of us. I am a mother, a step mother and a foster mother. You know nothing.
Hey @Eliana, I’m not bashing you or saying that you should be ashamed. However, I’m going to give you real advice because even though I left, I still do like a lot of the people of Hashan, and I feel like I owe it to you.

You’re taking a situation in which you tried something and it kind of blew up in your face (I know how that feels) and then you posted that while you were still emotional about it. I’m not sure if you were drunk IRL or in game and neither really lessens my opinion of you. Frankly the only thing that cheapens my opinion are when people speak down to me or try to use me as a punching bag for the holes they dug for themselves. Just- take care in using forums or discord servers to vent your emotions. If you feel alone or betrayed by your friends? Make new ones. I enjoyed playing with you (albeit infrequently), and would hate for you to burn yourself out or think that a few moments of anger or bitterness would make you irredeemable as a character (or person).

Look at it this way. I assure you Mhaldorians/Targossians/Eleusians/Ashtani have killed me hundreds and hundreds of times. I know for a fact I didn’t always have the most graceful defeat. When I left Hashan, I got about 1-2 invitations per city, and it really made my day because I had left Hashan because a few people made me feel ashamed and hurt in a few ways I realized werent going to change. I already made this mistake in the past... so it was a quiet exodus for me.

Just take a deep breath and let this pass over you. Enjoy what you enjoy, just realize that everyone enjoys different things. :)

So a couple of weeks and sober and despite promising myself I would avoid forums I can't help but say just a few things which after many years and avoiding this kind of stuff rather than calling it out:

Agreed. I was drunk, never a good idea on Achaea or forums.

I shouldn't have called anything out because yes, it backfires at times but moreso than it should.

I have nothing to be ashamed of, all the stories I told were times when people laughed at such things. Those kids who we 'kidnapped' were laughing as much as us. They saw those things as the pranks they were. You all take yourselves and something that is supposed to be a game, and therefore fun, far too seriously.

Agreed with a number of comments around a number of things but what always is missing here is perspective and compassion.

So many of you are quick to judge, quick to condemn and quick to tell others how they should behave, feel, be and play. I would be amazed if not one of you have ever or will never screw up.

Some context just so that you are reminded that I am a human being and so are the many others you all rush to criticise, opinionise (I may have made that word up) and get nasty at.

I - as a human - for the most part throughout my life am a hard working, happy, responsible and likeable adult. I am a daughter, a sister, a mother, a stepmother, a foster mother and a strong advocate for those who have disabilities, are Indigenous, are disadvantaged and have had terrible, underprivileged lives through no fault of their own. I forgive their mistakes and I help them get back up and dust themselves off, and still care for and support them. Does a hell of a lot more for a person who is sad, damaged, angry or being treated unfairly or condemned. Social justice is my main motivator.

Yes, I have bad days, I get angry and I get drunk and I rage about the systemic causes of injustice and disadvantage, sometimes because of what that does to me, but more often because of what it does to others, as I am sure many of you do as well. If you don't, and you are still going to be an arsehole, then you are not worthy of any more of my time. If you're not and you understand and care for people, and sometimes make mistakes and hurt and do dumb things yet have the capacity to be kind and don't judge everyone, then I feel for you and I imagine, like me, that you generally avoid these forums simply because they can be so toxic and uncaring.

So to those of you who have been judgey and think it's ok to diss others as  you so often do, I put you in the same bucket as Trump and other greedy, selfish, self serving, inconsiderate and insensitive people who do nothing for others but think it's ok to be dicks. You are the few in this world who I judge, and I judge you to be kind of like fleas or mosquitoes or headlice or other parasites - you suck the fun and life out of others. You are the ones who should be ashamed.

For the rest of you, I am sorry if you have ever been on the receiving end of any of those people's spiteful words and I recommend remembering that you are awesome, you are kind and good and it's ok to screw up, go easy on yourself. Don't change and don't waste a moment of your energy or thoughts on those people who are hurtful and forget that we are all just human, never perfect but always have endless potential.

And as a young girl named Dolly once said - google her you other morons - Speak even if your voice shakes. Never forget there are people who love you, and they will miss you while the other parasites are busy saying - wait, believing - they are blameless.

If that was an Achaea rule there'd be no players.
PS: Giving a giant wall of text after being told to let it go, isn't really an example of not being a dick. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I mean that very post violates both rule #3 and #6 if you wanna go there.

  • (Market): Proficy says, "Platinum whistle, Seared Glyph for sale.... Taking Major payment methods."

    You chuckle long and heartily.
You say in a clear voice, "Major payment methods."
You say in a clear voice, "Candy, Credits, Caches, Stockings, Momentos lol."

Proficy tells you, "American express not accepted."

Sobriquet says with a heavy Delosian accent, "Sirens."
    Sobriquet hums a happy tune.
  • So, when you're wondering when I got dropped on my head as a kid or something, here's what I got:

Like a scythe of psychic energy an alien force rips into your mind, radiating outwards from the form of the Archangel Yareve. As the strange power tears across the surface of your thoughts, you stagger before the relentless pressure of the Celestian presence, every unspoken word a fresh nail driven into your skull.

There's only one correct way to clear an area, and it's whatever route means you don't hit the hasty message when moving between rooms to kill things. (Most people get this all wrong.)

Yeah, I feel you. I wasn't a Darkwalker at the time of mine, and I still felt like my patron was Twilight at the time. I somewhat don't understand the reason they ask for patrons though.
