Astarod says to a soldier of Kkractle in a low, thundering voice, "Open gate."
Astarod greets a soldier of Kkractle with a sincere smile.
A soldier of Kkractle eyes Astarod cautiously.
A soldier of Kkractle says, "I'll need to see your identification before I can let you pass, Astarod.
"
Astarod gives an identity card to a soldier of Kkractle.
Handing an identity card back to Astarod, a soldier of Kkractle mutters, "I don't have time for this.
"
Inside the gates.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. A pavilion of formidable size lies east, its presence
manned at all times by hulking soldiers who safeguard the area. An improvised trail of boot and hoof
prints leads north to other parts of the camp and west into an training yard. Packed into a hard
surface from the number of individuals passing through the area, the thick covering of ash underfoot
forms a hard surface. Embers the size of myrrh balls pock the cement-hued path, which softens as it
leads further north into the camp. The occasional cinder floats through the air, burning out before
casually settling upon the ground. The hulking form of a soldier of Kkractle safeguards the area, a
falcon of enormous size upon his left wrist. Astarod Winterstone, Builder of the Pyre is here. His
features are obscured by an obsidian ritual mask of stygian darkness beneath the raised hood of a
grim cloak. He wields a spiked Hashani cavalry shield in his left hand and a scythe of shadows in
his right.
You see exits leading north and west.
Astarod says in a low, thundering voice, "Do you have time for my fist up your..."
You say in a deep, commanding voice, "Open the gate you blimey cur."
A soldier of Kkractle nods his head emphatically.
A soldier of Kkractle says, "Bear with me a moment."
A soldier of Kkractle calls aloud for the gate to be opened, and immediately a loud grinding noise
pervades the area.
The large gate swings open, allowing access to the wastes.
You follow Astarod east to At a security checkpoint.
You say to Astarod in a deep, commanding voice, "You have to be POLITE."
so I've done my interview and got my documents and all set but when I try to swear my oaths, the emissary says not right now, busy but there's literally no one else here
By virtue of the ancient Moot, you are raised to the rank of Cacharann, and granted all the powers of the Earthen Lord. The four tribes of the Earth plane join as one to declare Mathilda deserving of the rank of Cacharann.
I cannot even BEGIN. THANK YOU TO ALL who have helped, particularly the Targ Team and especially @Ictinus and @Makarios. Sorry about the quest info thing, I was just SO. GODDAMN. EXCITED. I CANNOT. I'm dead and dying I am so happy.
Mhaldor got a suitably Mhaldorian Chistmas Logosmas tree today
That was @Stheno 's idea for the anniversary and now I'm wondering if two people had the same idea or if someone liked her idea. Super cool either way!

I popped in to look at it - I can't be quite sure, but I believe it's either the same Logosmas tree that we had many years ago when Ruth was Tyrannus and I wanted a Logosmas tree for Mhaldor - because why should Mhaldor be left out of Logosmas decoration fun! - or a refreshed version of the same idea. Ruth did post about it but I don't think anyone kept the description, worse luck. Back then it was in the old temple and you had to tell the Confessor what you wanted to write. Also it seemed more fiery to me back then, but I might be misremembering.

the rank of Commander in the Legion of Flame, gaining the status of Lord of Fire! O yez!"
@Aegoth@Taryius@Keorin Thank you for an epic quest and hours of group exploration and solving, and THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME HAVE MY FIRST FIRST!
@Ictinus Thank you so much for all your help, patience and tenacity in me going somewhere in 32 hours straight with this! You are an absolute gem and have worked above and beyond!
For all who are interested: Fire is amazing, and Ictinus was in charge of it, and he definitely did not let me down! I may have shoveled some crap, but I definitely burned it up in return!

She is an incandescent Elemental Lady, and is cloaked in the blinding mantle of Kkractle. Lashing
tendrils of tireless flame surge about and around a towering, humanoid shape approaching roughly
nine feet high, great gouts of primal conflagration wrapped about its limbs in a twisting wreathe of
scathing fury. Two white-hot motes crown the figure's scalding countenance where the eyes would
ordinarily lay, gazing out upon the world with a seemingly endless hunger flaring within their
incandescence. Firebrands and embers propel themselves screaming from her torrid veil in fits,
ravenously gnawing at the surroundings for any hint of fuel.
Taking a long, measured breath, Zulah closes his eyes, a deep look of focus upon his features.
Arching his back and screaming to the heavens, Zulah shudders violently as a force unseen wells deep within his body, its turbulence thrusting them to and fro.
With a horrifying lurch, Zulah falls to his feet, and is no sooner rent utterly in twain, and then again, and again, releasing a blinding light with every lash.
The light fades, and Zulah is nowhere to be seen. A terrible stillness overtakes the air surrounding you for the briefest moment, and with an abrupt fury, a tempestuous gale in all its argent-flecked glory manifests where they once stood, the form of an Elemental Lord of Air dominating the surroundings.

I'd like to say Air quests were so well written. I loved them! @Ictinus I know I've said it a few times but really, thank you for the quick responses and adjustments along with all the work I'm sure so many people put in.
So often quests are are "Slay x" or "Greet Y, slay Z"
These quests were engaging, tricky, and fun! The combined story of the Air Plane caught me off guard as it played out.

Forgot to include air description. On my phone for awhile so here’s a screenshot:
I’ll second the love for @Ictinus. You’re awesome.
@Makarios too for the design process. You crazy.
