(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Moments ago I earned my second anniversary badge..I have played this game before on a few characters only lasting a few days. The longest was a Sylvan that lasted around two weeks. I've made lots of friends, no real rivals (Cyrenian life) and have gone through numerous personal story arcs that made me anxious to keep coming back.
Most of you don't know who I am or why Aziik even wakes up since I'm not a powerful combatant, politician, renowned chef or trader but for those I've interacted with I hope it's been enjoyable and if not then I hope you at least found something positive from it. I'm glad to see I've stuck around for so long and look forward to my third year of stories and memories.
I am a bit disappointed with that weather-changing talisman thing. I mean, the idea is cool, but people have complained a lot about how static and boring the weather has been as of late, and the introduction of such a talisman leaves the distinctly bitter taste on the mouth that if we want any variety whatsoever now then we should just shell out for the talisman.
Probably being overly negative, and I am sorry for that.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
I think the century-long worldwide drought (has there been any precipitation anywhere in the world since the weather system changes?) is in urgent need of fixing regardless of the talisman.
Edit: Okay, so it's only been 44 years without rain, not a century.

Nearly two generations of Achaean children who will be very confused when water rain replaces their more common blood rain.
I searched my logs for every weather message (in the room, not the stand-alone messages) I've seen since the weather changes in 2015, just to be sure I haven't missed any precipitation. And nope, no hint of rain or snow of any kind, except when it comes from Sylvans or Taug.
The full list:
The surroundings are dry and without moisture, a fact evident even in the dim morning light. The sun beats down oppressively upon the land, banishing any moisture beneath its rays.
Sunset falls upon the arid landscape, the reddish light filtering across the horizon. The stars shine down from the sky above, bathing the arid land beneath their silvery light.
Much of the heavens are blotted out by clouds, the dawn sun struggling to break through. The sky lightens with the onset of dawn. The sun shines brightly overhead. The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. The noonday sun shines down, tinged grey by its passage through the thick clouds above. The afternoon sun shines down, its rays broken only by the occasional wisp of cloud. The sun sinks toward the cloudless horizon, shining out radiant and fiery from the western skies. Dawn breaks across the land, the sky and its sparse clouds lit in fiery hues by the rising sun. The sky darkens with the onset of night. The stars glimmer down, broken only upon occasion by thin wisps of clouds. The sun sets, its dimming rays lancing across the sky and lighting the dim edges of cloud that hang there. The sun shines down warmly from the cloudless sky, standing at the apex of its arc through the heavens. Sunset falls, casting the clouds above in a shadowy array of darks and silvers and lending the sky a purplish cast. The stars glimmer down from a clear and cloudless sky, bathing the landscape in silvery light. Many of the stars are disguised behind looming clouds, tracing their slow paths across the sphere of the heavens.
The first two lines account for more than half of all weather
I've seen, with the next two accounting for most of the rest, so about 85% of all weather I've seen mentions how dry and arid it is.
Have been contemplating buying one of those direwolves, but wanted to see if there would be more around so the price would drop. Price has dropped about in half from last I checked, so was in the process of buying one when they made the announcement for the 500 credit prize in the next 50 spins, so ran to the wheel.
Didn't win the 500 credits (congrats @Skye!), but I did end up getting a wolf!
A large, prismatic Wheel of Fortune slows down to a halt, rewarding you with a crate marked "live animal inside".
You have been awarded with The feet for a flattened frog skin talisman piece!
I know somebody who'd be happy to buy this off you and help you recoup the loss.

I was on the fence about buying credits this month - especially since I just paid for a Nintendo Switch and the Limited Edition version of Breath of the Wild yesterday - due to the rewards being really pretty meh (personally), but the fact that people are going to get absolutely shafted on the redeem value compared to previous talisman promotions made it an easy decision not to.

Yeah, my problem is that unless I complete an entire set or sell them on the player market, the items are of minimal value to me. Like, worse than 100k gold in tradein value levels of bad, basically just a 10% credit sale.
I don't demand that every promo be an amazing bargain, but this one just fails to excite me.
Clearly selling talisman pieces works for IRE, otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it, but I think it's a shame there haven't been any new talismans sets that people can collect in game, like the Dragon and Azatlan sets.
Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."

I do agree with this, at least - things like Black Wave for Underrealm denizens, or Death on undead stuff, would be appropriate in my opinion.

The major problem with that is that some, or all, of the items in those sets have redeem values (and, in a few cases, extremely high ones). They would have to be removed in order for them to be bashing rewards, which means they're a considerably less attractive reward from future promotions (to the point where they probably couldn't be a reward from future promotions at all).

Yes. Not against those redeem values being removed - we have new talisman sets being produced over time, after all. Maybe make the Black Wave talismans still promo-only for now, since they're still recent, but I think Death has been around long enough that it could, in theory, have the redeem value removed and a drop chance for it applied to appropriate denizens.

You will literally never lose your lock. Even if your person has 30k willpower and you've been spamming it non-stop.
It also lets you keep your lock (for the most part) if they leave the area.
It's fuckin weird.
Just saw this.
Best of luck! Honestly, I'm satisfied either way because we seem to share a similar vision for Regent.

- How much damage does Lightning strike do and how often does it proc if not once? Is it another room attack coming into play we should worry about?
- How long is the delay before someone can re-enemy after the siren bottle is opened? I honestly ponder over bards, mages and priests
- Is the Trample ability a 1 time use or will your mount be able to use it any time after feeding? I'm going to assume the later
