Sid wears glasses. Not because of defective eyesight, but simply to ease visual strain and reduce headaches when dealing with intense bouts of reading/writing.
Today I learnt how to shackle a surgeon to a wall, push a gurney, and that showing the corpse of the great mhunna to other mhuns leads to amazing results, one such being "show the proper respect for the great mhunna!" and then a small increase in experience!
Tomorrow's journey: Gnolls and you: How Manara can serve you to dragonhood.
Tomorrow's journey: Gnolls and you: How Manara can serve you to dragonhood.
I'm GMT so am stuck in work for another 5 hours. Xaden is currently alternating between Manara (cos he can stand there and let Gnolls hit him for hours without dying when I have to take a call), Kasmarkin and extraction.
His goal is to be dragon by Logosmos. Have % per day mapped out for him. He's 3% ahead of what he should be by the end of this month. Looking promising.
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.
Became Development Minister in Eleusis, good times. Furnished another room in the family House. In the sense of furnishing, I think the house is done. I still need to get a Bookshelf for the Library, but it's now got a nice desk, fairly comfy chair. Big couch, and 3 rockers. Now to finish upgrades.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool Or a coward Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both For a wounded man will shall say to his assailant "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven" Such is the rule of honor
You float lazily in a pool, surrounded by a school of goldfish. Their scales shimmer in the light that pierces the water, and you notice that they have all turned away from you, swimming off in another direction. A single fish remains behind, his fins twitching uselessly as he watches his companions abandon him.
Inre dreams - people tell me that I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I swear it feels like the dream system is somehow related to everything else your character actually does.
Spend a lot of time shipboard? Sea-related dreams like whoa. Done a bunch of scrapping? Combat dreams abound
It is entirely possible, I guess, that the "immersion" is so real that its simply my perception, but one way or the other, the wide array, flavour, and the content of dreams are one of my favourite things about the game, no question.

This is like the saddest metaphorical dream ever
My sister once put her turtle in my goldfish tank and it nibbled most of the fins of my favourite fish off. It didn't touch any of the other fish and I was so angry. Poor little Michelangelo could barely swim and my parents considered freezing him so he didn't starve to death or die of infection. Fuck that, I said, and I would especially soak and sink bits of food for him because all the fish would swim around eating it all before it would sink to him.
He recovered though he only really ever grew back half of his fins. Next winter all his five friends succumbed to cold but he survived. Tough little bastard survived another year.
tl;dr : My lonely fish was the most bestest fish so don't feel so bad.

You get different dreams on Meropis, so I think it's plausible for them to perhaps be influenced by things like surrounding environments.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
So, I'm sitting in my living room, halfway afk, replying to tells in between customers at work. Tells are easy to see, yeah? BRIGHT YELLOW.
Then uh... @Deucalion shows up and I totally don't notice it cause it's standard game text color, until this elaborate emote where He's trying to get my attention pops up. At which point I may have freaked out slightly and told a coworker there was a God in my living room.
And that's the dangers of playing Achaea at work...
@Kasya I had a similar thing happen to me with @Deucalion last week. Was sitting at rally point with Achaea open in the background and a paper I was working on for school taking up most of my screen I had just enough of Achaean showing to realize that Deucalion had animated a denizen and brought him to talk to me. Scared the daylights out of me.
@Sarapis and @Tecton answered my prayers and brought the Sacrificial Kris back into play... But they did so in november when the semester has taken its toll on my bank account..
Slightly dismayed at first at the idea of being shuffled around from Head of Newcomers, but I decided to not get hung up on it and try and turn what could have been seen as a negative into a positive.
Head of Newcomers is a fun position and all, but its difficult in a niche House that naturally is not going to have a high novice flow. Not to mention the position itself is sort of a box, what I mean by that is your HoN is going to have relatively the same duties from House to House.
Not to say HoN wasn't one of the most fun roles to play so far, but I am always looking to build something new from the ground up.
Hoping with this new position in question I can spend less time doing paperwork/behind the scenes work and more time interacting with other players. Rites, ceremonies, discussions, drills, etc..
We'll see how it goes, but looking forward to it though

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.

@Deladan remind me to drop a few dozen firecrackers on you.
@Zuko time to get yourself to Captain rank in the Navy!
