He is lucky if he can even hold a spoon properly by the time I am done with him!
That being said, I am finally done with the fourth installment of this Legate rework I originally and stupidly volunteered to write an example for. I was naive to think that I could stop at the example and have someone else take over.

You're to good at it for anyone else to take over! I'm sure people will love the re-work that you did.
Getting a lot of written work done! Finishing one last assignment to advance, and finished a major hurdle for something for the convention, though still more to do. I think it will turn out well.
Lots of conversations. Everywhere. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Also the Insidium has SO MANY NOVICES lately, its getting hard to keep up with all of them and their requests.
Was half asleep last night talking to someone when I had the pants scared off of me. Probably wasn't on purpose but I'm pretty sure I nearly fell out of my chair. Oops.

Dreamland's version of Achaea rolled out with undead and vampires and stuff. It was some kind of invasion with a 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em' element. I think it was just a racial thing though, since at least during the event they got minor class bonuses across the board.

What is this?
(<clan>): Kuy says, "Gurl, I could talk myself outta Alkatraz."
This was a few days ago, but after much waiting, deliberation on names, and someone's hard work to create a beautiful ceremony beforehand (thank you - you know who you are), finally and forever...
You have emoted: Melodie moves with even paces to the side of her vessel. She turns to the small gathering, saying, "I cannot begin to top (snip)'s words, but let this vessel be so blessed and renamed for her new journey forward." She turns back, lifting a slender bottle of Epicurean reserve high.

Watching ideas finally beginning to materialise and pull together is both exhilarating and scary. I'm feeling the pre-event jitters beginning to build and constantly having it at the back of my head thinking about whether I've forgotten anything important, what else haven't I prepared, will things be ready on time, will there be enough people, is it a suitable time, will everything run smoothly...not to mention the ton of last-minute ideas that pop up as well. Funny considering we're just the site host!
Every event I run, no matter on what scale, I promise myself it'll be my last but somehow that never happens. I guess I just love creating events and watching them come to life, seeing people enjoy themselves, and more than anything bringing something different to the roleplay experience of Achaea. I love building settings and creating instances for people to interact in, giving people a reason to talk to each other and more. Giving people a reason to really play a character and be part of an epic story, share an experience, break out of the typical fight/grind/quest/gather routine.
I'm nervous but also pretty excited for Sunday (I guess Saturday for many of you westerners) and hoping everything turns out all right. I've never tried to do something of this scale before and being the (admittedly) micromanager that I am, it makes me anxious because I want things to run perfect. There's only so much you can prepare for though (despite my attempts otherwise) and at some stage I guess you just have to let things roll.
A preliminary thank you to the various MoCAs (know that I very much appreciate how difficult your job is and you are not alone!), admin, and everyone else that has been helping with the Convention efforts for your cooperation and patience with my questions and amendments. And of course my fellow Founders - you're the reason all of this is happening. Looking forward to seeing the results of player creativity all across the game, and how you will represent your cities!

I'm actually rather excited about it myself. I don't know all what there is to expect, and I have never actually attended an event where most of the world/org ideology is being shown and demonstrated in the same venue.
Even if you have a little time to spare, I hope people will try to pop over to Meropis to attend the convention. I suspect only Jurixe knows the full schedule (I only know bits and pieces) and what to expect, so I think I will be pleasantly surprised!
Also, thanks for the attempted Divine city patron assistance for some cities. I know this means you were interested in helping your org put their best foot forward but things did not work out!

I'm going to try to make it as it is a bit late for some of us Americans. If I don't, I hope it goes well!
Had fun times with Mhaldorians (@Saeva@Aegoth@Cresil) in Hashan earlier. At first it I found it annoying (cause I had stuff to do and places to be! And there was basically no one around to really defend at first) but more people showed up and I still had fun!
Twas a decent amount of back-and-forth. So glad we managed to disarm that tank. With it's position, I was betting you were likely going for a level two tank to blow up the entire coliseum.
Note to self: always check infamy levels after a skirmish, so I know whether I should be looking over my shoulder or not.
That's what I was reminded of today.
- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."
@Tharvis just reminded me of something funny that happened in that raid too.
I'd just scry'd Cresil alone in the Coliseum and Tharvis went to go attack him there and he's echoing stuff on PT that he's doing to him. I immediately think 'I should go help him!'
On my way there, everyone else apparently earring'd in and Tharvis ran away. I proceeded to walk into all of them.
I just sat there and shared my thoughts on the matter: (Party): You say, "I immediately regret this decision." *die*
Wanted to go shopping in Hashan, but... well, see above... so I checked deathsight to make sure it was clear. It was! Yay shopping. Crap, this shopping stinks today. I think I'll try Eleusis. *walk to eleusis* There sure are a lot of people here... Hey, what's Ashtan dooooOHCRAPRUNAWAY
Kerria was specifically invited not to be involved in something she has always put first before herself. One person decided that her voicing her opinion was her being 'power hungry' and told a bunch of people that she's not really welcome, but tolerated for the years of service. Word came back to Kerria by this person.
Held two open forums on @Vastar's teachings. Both were quite successful, but the second kinda got off on a tangent. Much fun. Then went and got smashed on darkbrew with a few people from the second.
And as I was typing this I realized I lost the log of the second one. Oh well.
Tried dipping my toe back into combat for the first time in several weeks. One lopsided Targossian and two auto-lightning Eleusian encounters within 24 hours later, I am mostly regretting the decision. Uncertain if I'll continue.
On a brighter note, finished a very big project and simply tweaking it for the convention tomorrow, which I'm very excited about. Been spending time with various Mhaldorians, new, old, and returning, and enjoying my time with them. Having almost-civil conversations now and again with Aerek. Getting a new manor resident all settled in, whose company I enjoy tremendously.

Sailed back from Zaphar after buying some salt for kitty earlier. Was in the middle of Notic Ocean when Boarath screamed for help like a sissy.
Sailed into harbour a few minutes later to run with @Lukan and @Titonus. Managed not to die to @Rangor today when he came a-knocking on Mhaldor's fortress walls and then brought a homecoming party over for us.
Found out how rusty I am with monk. Stole some kills. Enjoyed RHK's ability to break shields.
Excited to show up for the convention for next month. I was promised a presentation that would make me think.
Now off to celebrate Mother's Day early!!!
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
I woke up and happened to catch targ zerg-rushing Mhaldor over breakfast. Was very surprised. Put down waffles, jumped in at the tail end of some room burning. So proud (Sorry @Melodie).
Led city prayers. Erected some shrines. Destroyed some shrines. Skirmish skirmish skirmish. Citizened a convert. Performed a ritual for him. Tested a novice. Skirmish skirmish skirmish. Restocked shops. Bashed a little. Did more shrine stuff. Ran around with @Kasyadid quests, burned karma, and awkwardly pretended to be grain millers though we never did get the flour right. There's like a pile of three or four bags worth just scattered uselessly on the floor in the grist mill but we had fun.
Ended a busy day arranging for asmall retoteming job in honor of the Cyrene-Targossas devo split.
Nirvana.
This room has not been mapped.
A comforting feeling of privacy pervades the area. A single monolith of grey stone occupies the centre of the chamber, covered in a faint coating of dust. Consecrating its surroundings, a raging pyre burns white hot in homage to the Righteous Fire. The shining figure of a guardian angel floats in the air here. A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground, bearing the city arms of Targossas.
A frenzied cleric screams, "Like more than one halo!"

Why is there not a "dislike" button? BAD. WHO WILL GIVE ME RANDOM PRESENTS? My earring! I thought our love was eternal!

Highlights for me are the following:
