Warzone 2100. Not the best RTS, but considering it was free off of the Linux market thingy, It's really good. Enjoyable, and the customization isn't to bad either.
@riashain I am liking it so far. It is very easy, and very fun. Light entertainment. You can change anything you want about the skill tree of your character at any given time. It is like a fantasy fun park. I think it is too bad what happened around this game. R.I.P.
Just finished the relatively short Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
First off, let me say this game is exceptionally beautiful, both in the actual graphics of the game, and in the actual emotional aspect of it. I played the PC version and encountered a few unfortunate bugs, but managed to work my way through them (if you pick up and run into them, google around, you should be able to find answers). While you can play this on a keyboard, I definitely recommend picking up a USB controller. It's worth it, as the controls for this game are quite a bit different from the norm.
All that said, this game has literally crushed my heart and soul. I think I need to go cuddle something for a while.
Doesn't make this game any less amazing, though. Pretty sure I'll be doing a second run-through once I recover from the shock a bit.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Brothers was an incredibly good game. I keep trying to persuade my friends to play it. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in games for the story.

what happened around this game? I liked it a lot
Studio folded, assets auctioned, nobody even bid on the rights to the game iirc. R.I.P.
Also if I remember correctly they were government funded so heavily that it ended up losing like 500 million. The game was good, but for something they hired major fantasy authors to write the story was never really interesting.
@goggo it is exactly as @severina summed up. I think that part of the misfortune of KOA:Reckoning was the timing. KOA:Reckoning game came out at the same time Skyrim and ME3 did, so it did not sell as expected. Macfarlane and Salvatore are estimated authors, though. I do not know what to say about this game, it game has everything a RPG has to offer, but it is assembled in an unexpected and sometimes awkward way. However, the game is good, light and fun despite of its strangeness. I am halfway now. Also, it should have evolved into a MMORPG...that was the plan.
They're busy announcing the Guild Wars 2 expansion.
It's sounding pretty damn amazing.
New Area (Maguuma Wastes) New Mastery System (train certain skills like languages, gliding etc) New Specialisations (Each class can further specialise) New Class (Revenant: pretty much a death knight) New WvW Map New PvP Game Mode (Stronghold: hire mobs to assault enemy stronghold, sounds mobaish) GvG Guild Halls
So, pretty much play Achaea, random PS4 games from time to time (DrMangoSplash), and Diablo III (MangoSplash#1102). Anyone can feel free to add me, mostly just play solo Diablo (play hardcore exclusively and have lost a few good toons by playing with random bad people).
Seven professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have been banned from Valve-sponsored events, including the upcoming ESL One Katowice. The bans come as the result of an August 2014 match between iBUYPOWER and NetcodeGuides.com, which has now been confirmed as having been fixed.
The allegations were detailed last week by The Daily Dot, with evidence that included screen caps of current Cloud9 player Shahzeb "ShahZam" Khan acknowledging that he was given advance notice of the outcome. Players involved in the fix used "smurf accounts" to place high-value bets on the match through the CS:GO Lounge, according to the claims, which have now been substantiated by the powers that be at Valve.
"We can confirm, by investigating the historical activity of relevant accounts, that a substantial number of high valued items won from that match by Duc 'cud' Pham were transferred (via Derek 'dboorn' Boorn) to iBUYPOWER players and NetCodeGuides founder, Casey Foster," Valve wrote on the CS:GO blog. "All together, the information we have collected and received makes us uncomfortable continuing any involvement with these individuals."
Seven players will be excluded from "participation in any capacity in Valve-sponsored events," according to the post:
Duc cud Pham
Derek dboorn Boorn
Casey Foster
Sam Dazed Marine
Braxton swag Pierce
Keven AZK Larivi re
Joshua Steel Nissan
Valve also laid out the ethical obligations of pro players, managers, and team staff, who "should under no circumstances gamble on CS:GO matches, associate with high volume CS:GO gamblers, or deliver information to others that might influence their CS:GO bets."
"As CS:GO grows, it s important to consider the substantial impact an individual professional Counter-Strike player has on the health and stability of their sport," it wrote. "Performing before an audience of millions of fans, they are ambassadors for their game the strength of professional Counter-Strike comes from the integrity of its players and teams."
The ESL, which recently announced a $250,000 prize pool for the upcoming CS:GO Katowice 2015 tournament, confirmed on Reddit that it would uphold the ban. "Like the blog post said, none of these players will be able to participate or contribute in any other form to ESL One Katowice or future Majors run by us, and we are currently finalising our verdict regarding other ESL leagues and these players," ESL rep theflyingdj wrote. "We do not have any tolerance for match fixing, have always made clear in our rules that players are not to be involved with any kind of betting and will continue to work on a clean and fair competitive environment for CS:GO."
The ESEA has also issued bans against the seven players in question, saying that while the bans are currently set for one year, it reserves the right to extend them indefinitely. It noted that it has since implemented its own policy explicitly forbidding players, managers, and sponsors from betting on their own matches, adding, "We strongly encourage all organizations, regardless of their affiliation with Valve, to mirror and enforce these bans so that a clear message is sent—there is no place for match fixing in professional gaming."
The number of players affected by the ban is relatively small, but the severity of the punishment sends an unmistakable message that match fixing will not be tolerated. Given the growing popularity of professional CS:GO, and the ballooning value of purses attached to tournaments like Katowice, it's a welcome development—and, I'd say, long overdue.

Contra: - the game is too easy, even on hard. It seems there is no other level beyond that, so far; - enemy's AI is not super-smart. If you play a very fast moving character like the mage/thief build, AI has hard time in tracking you; - unlocking magical chests is impossible as a miniskill. You need to do it automatically, as you progress in the game.
Pro: - you can reset everything about your character at any time; - all dialogues are spoken and extremely well acted; - the setting is very deep and well written, and the story is really enjoyable; - the surroundings and graphics are awesome and colourful. It's high fantasy, no medieval stuff here; - the character responds very well to your inputs in combat; - it is like an RPG on steroids. We are talking about UBER POWERPLAY. - there is definitively love in this game by the authors.

EDIT: Just realized this was pretty ranty. Long story short: Man, Farcry 4 has a really frustrating mission! But hey, Farcry 4!

Vote 9/10
I loved it.
I play it on the 360 so join up if you wish or make other House crews!
I'm terrible at it, but I am getting better (lol I think so?). Just been beating on Uke and trying not to get DQ'd every damn time.
