I just got done playing my first playthrough of the game 'Papers, Please!' Talk about being on edge about making a mistake and the conundrum of whom to help. For my first play I decided to side with the Order and became a member. Looking forward to my next run, but I think I might wait a bit. >.>

Man that game drives me nuts. So many tiny things that can go wrong!
So I decided to start up another playthrough of Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor... and I decide, "I think I'll name my planets after Achaean places-slash-people."
And then this happens ... and it's so oddly appropriate XD
Do note, I have to name the planet before any colonization ethic dilema pops up, so, I kinda chortled at the responses. At this moment, of this posting, I haven't chosen a response... but I'm probably going to go with the Cyrenian response... the Mhaldor response is tempting, but +15%PQ isn't really that much.
And then, I just learned, alt-tabbing screwed up the game, so I no longer have that map/option/planet Oh well, still amusing!

So I've kinda been playing this game. Been following it since the pilot chapter was released on Kongregate and made a donation so I could play the subsequent chapters immediately as they're released. They just finished the 4th chapter and finale of the first season and frankly.... wow. Just wow. The music is one of the most amazing things and plays an enormous role in building the ambiance. Normally I've heard some pretty crappy or generic stuff on indie games, but this is just... zero complaints really.
From a publisher POV Titanfall is an amazing work, but from a gamer POV, some people regard TF more as a game for COD kids. Surely the videos look impressive.
From a gamer POV, those COD kids pay the bills. Titanfall looks like something that I will have to spend credit money on upgrading my PC, so you shouldn't be cheering for it S.
From a Game Design perspective TF has an amazing twist on it having AI grunts in the battle. Feels more like a real battle plus even if you are dying heaps you are mowing own the grunts, so you don't feel useless like you do when it's just die die die like in CoD. The jump pack makes being a foot soldier feel fast and fluid, although I expect it to take some time for some people to get used to thinking in 3D and finding optimal ways around.
The Titans are not like vehicles in other FPS games, they are not over powered tanks or helicopters as even a single good player with opportunity can take out a titan on their own. The constant play of on foot and in titan, switching all the time adds to the pacing of the game.
Titanfall is the first PvP FPS I've been excited about since UT2k4.
Admittedly, if I was still a kid, I would play the hell out of TF. When I was a kid there was a series called Gundam, and we where all very excited about. The portion of the TF video I like the best is when the pilots steps in the Titan's cockpit and the screens start up. I liked Section 8 a lot, which resembles TF in a sort of way.
Anyway, the commitment to publish such a games is damn serious.
Having fun on FF14:RR beta for ps4, so much graphics, so wow
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
@Goggo the beta only has ps4-only servers for now, as they'll get wiped post-test
I will however, be playing on Lich when it goes live

Been playing D3 with the new loot. Rolled a new toon, and it is so fun actually finding gear that is useful as I level. Probably hit 60 soonish so if anyone wants to play, hit me up.
I go back and forth between Neverwinter, Firefall, SWTOR, DCUO, D&DO, LOTRO, TERA Online, and Achaea. I also have the Mass Effect series and both Witcher games, haven't beaten either of them yet, Witcher 2 seems wierd to me, maybe because I'm playing on my laptop, K+M.
Honestly I'm not very far in any of them, I've beaten the Mass Effect games though, plan to do a straight go through all of them at some point. I wish SOE haden't trashed Wizardry Online, that game was great!
Witcher is 100% meant to be played with a keyboard and mouse. CD Projeckt Red has no idea how to make a game for consoles, they are hardcore oldschool gamers like a lot of the European studios are (atleast the ones not making mobile apps). It is weird because it is Might and Magic or Baldur's Gate in a modern game so you aren't used to the depth to all the systems.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
