    Welp then.

    EDIT
    NEVERMIND that's brilliant.
    Huh. Neat.
  • Yeah, not sure why killing any citizen counts for a sanction.  I understand why it's not soldiers only (although I thought it was, was wrong about that), but any citizen at all? Seems like it encourages picking off a couple of newbs to secure your sanction.  Should be changed to soldiers, and city rank > 1, both easy to check via honours.

@CooperYou know that every forestall gets a message when a room is exterminated. Picking a faraway place just to bother everybody and then qq when we realiate... that's pretty weak if you ask me. The fact that you are crying about it now is even weaker. Exterminating Inbhir Ness of all places... and then you complain about Eleusis? Good luck repairing Stygian Crossroads. You deserve everything you got.
This is coming from the guy who said Rangor was too busy to join him and Florentino v Proficy and I exterminating Mysia. Perfect 2 on 2 btw

You tell Bleak: Good fight, thanks for keeping it even.
Bleak told You: That was pure coincidence. Rangor was too busy helping novices or he would have been there :p.

^^^Why would you boast about making a fight uneven then talk about anything being weak? gtfo

It's supposed to be on the raiders. I wouldn't suggest he do it because it's just one death, but Sergius would absolutely win an issue if he issued the people who killed him.

I don't think I got all of it, but the bits I was in was really pretty! Also totally matching the atmosphere since I was also freezing my butt off while exploring the pool :D

Oh all right, then it's good logic obv.
Was just clarifying the timeline.  Uneven raids have been going on forever, the new raid system actually lowered it since you can just ignore them if they bring a ridiculos group.  Also guards have way more health now so it is harder than it used to be.

Tank detonation xp should be a fixed total split among the enemy soldiers to encourage smaler raid groups.  The current system actually encourages cities to add more to their group to secure the detonation without a cost.
Guards ain't hard if you have eleusis's population, as cooper just proved with his post.

It's  a nice idea to encourage smaller groups with tanks, though. I'd weigh it based on defenders somehow (if you're raiding vs 20 defenders it's different than vs 5, for instance), but not sure if that's possible.
Actually, it was mostly because of your guard setup being shit and defenders not using font (not high enough AR?) that we got all those guards. An effective guard setup + activating font and you would have been wiping us after 20 minutes due to the 20% increased damage.

Killing guards with 2-3x arrows + proficy monk pain + font stacks  is actually quite hard.. But when you have 3x knights in each room, and wraiths in groups of 5 standing all by their lonesome.. Citizens logging off instead of grouping somewhere outside of reach. Then it's rather easy and we suffer no casualties.

That said. We will try to keep raids below the hour in the future. Sorry for overstaying our "welcome".

Guards are super effective tools to get rid of oversized raid groups when used correctly. Takes a bit before you learn how to set them up and how to use them though. I know Eleusis lost a shitload of guards before we managed to do it right. (I was a terrible MoS and spread em out way too thin once upon a time)

Assuming the offplane exterminating stops as well, obviously.

Jarrod admitted earlier our guard setup is terribad (and I agree), so not arguing with you there. We also couldn't font because the only high enough AR member was proficy who was in and out because he was having a BBQ or something (lol) and because our MoW is beyond inactive.

People were logging off because they had shit to do (it was a sunday afternoon after all), and even at the start of the raid we had literally four non-novices (and I mean actual novices here, one of them was literally 0% my might) so that's hardly an excuse.

You did suffer a lot of casualties, though  That's why I'm overall proud of Mhaldor, even with a tiny ass group we didn't just abandon the city and afk.

This makes me sad :( It was setup for awhile that there was no lureable wraiths and all of them had 10 responders (to max 15 in a room) in range or more. Sad that something happened to that.
I know. I always saw area around stygian as impregnable (lol, is that the correct word)?

Damn, no wonder you guys like raiding so much

Your guards did most of the beating, unfortunately. They ain't lyin about the cactus clan in Hashan. Hurts to sit.

If I am totally remembering incorrectly about one of your guards descriptions saying 'cactus clan', I only have a lack of coffee and the early hour to blame.**

  • They do, swami of the cactus clan.
