Still my favorite pet project. <3
And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching                                                      Though quaking
Shown in this shaking                                                             Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby                                                 That's just wasteland, baby

So a normal skirmish with Eleusis, nothing out of the ordinary. Doing pretty good, avoiding a lot of tricky deaths, feeling good, then...

Khaz raises his broadsword over his head and begins to swing it in a wide circle, gaining speed as he goes.

    (svo): Careful: Khaz started behead!

    (Ignore while focusing on attacking)

Khaz begins to bear down on you with his whirling broadsword.

(svo): Careful: Khaz is still beheading you!

(Keep attacking someone else like a dork. Realize belatedly I need to get out. Try to get out.)

Screaming out a warcry of pure strength, Khaz brings his broadsword crashing straight down on your head. Blackness fills your vision and the screams of pain exploding in your head find no outlet as your entire body is clove asunder.
You are no longer known for acts of infamy.
You have been slain by Khaz.
With your final, dying breath you utter the single word, "Vengeance!". Spears of jagged bone materialise out of thin air, and plunge themselves into your enemies.
A ginseng root falls out of your inventory.
A bloodroot leaf falls out of your inventory.
A skullcap flower falls out of your inventory.
Some irid moss falls out of your inventory.
A bloodroot leaf falls out of your inventory.
A piece of kelp falls out of your inventory.

Lideron's nostrils flare wildly with a great rush of air as his sinuous body contracts and his mouth opens wide to emit a rippling, unbroken roar at Khaz. (Well, at least he tried)

(Oh well. Dumb reason to die on my part, but it happens. Time to pray!)

Sitting up from your supine position, you glance at your body and realise it is healed and whole once again. Still reeling in wonder from your experience, you quietly ponder the Endbringer's reasons for restoring you to life, and leave the cave. (Yay I'm up, are we still fighting?!)

(Suddenly before I even say anything aloud or have been up for five seconds...)

(Party): Hasar says, "You got cleaved there, Melodie."

Welcome to the Mhaldorian Education System, folks! We deal in sarcasm, ironic statements, and occasionally Captain Obvious pays us a visit to remind us of our solemn duty in keeping the apparent visible at all times.
And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking

@Melodie I love when people do this...it's like really?! Are you sure? I couldn't tell that I died/that was a bad idea. I never would have figured that ,had you not told me. Thank oh great wise one. :) out..even better...You finish a  spar that you lost and they treat you like you do not know what happened and/or that you are a beginner to combat. :p

Edit:I do understand the purpose though

  • I hope at least one other person gets this.
  • General log for the Vashnarian Shield:
    2015/01/31 22:25:10 - Credits +100. Reason: Member purchase.

WTF, who in Cyrene even needs this many credits.

@Cynlael should have seen the city logs when I came back to playing after being dormant. I bought something like 8k credits in a day.

Plenty of artifacts for hunting and other things of whimsy.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

Somebody in Eleusis bought enough to get a +150 result just a couple of days ago. I did a slight double-take when I saw it.

Which gets more from a purchase, again? House or City?
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

    edit Nevermind. House gets more.
    Cyrene log:
    2015/01/31 22:25:10 - Credits: +60. Reason: Citizen purchase.

  • well 100... i wonder how many credits equal to +100 at the moment.. 2000?

  • Yes. Houses get 5% of credit purchases, cities get 3%.

My guess is for a recently purchased shop...

then that 'citizen' must have brought around 3000 to 4000 credits.

    Your math is horrible. 100 * 20 (100%/5%) is 2000.

where that 20 and 100% come from? by the way, i thought that +100 was in the city log, not house log. just oversight on my part.

by the way @Astriel, your math is too complicated. I simply do this to figure out the answer: 100 / 0.05 and the answer is 2000.

  • The (100%/5%) is explaining where the 20 comes from, it's not part of the math.
  • 100 credits, not percent.
