    It's snowing everywhere (in Achaea). Is this normal? Does it always snow this much and consistently in January? Is this some kind of anniversary of gods dying thing? Or is it heralding something more eerie (yeah I'm paranoid).

    Achaea is going to freeze over. I think the last two logs I've logged in on the battlements, I keep commenting to Nemutaur about it snowing in the middle of summer.

    I know in the cities it's made to snow over the Christmas period. Maybe someone forgot to turn it off.

    Is getting disconnected while being dead (before embracing) a thing that's supposed to happen? I don't see anything in the help files about it, and I've played Achaea and other IRE games in the past and I don't remember that happening.

    Nothing server-side, everything is humming along nicely. There was an upstream issue a few days ago that disconnected about 70% of people for a couple of minutes, but other than that, I'm not aware of any issues.

    It's more like my punishment for not using a UPS with proper surge protection.
    3, 2, 1 of backup. 3 backups, 2 copies, 1 offsite. I even run that level for my homelab. GET ON MY LEVEL SON.

    Is it possible to make a journal someone gave you have the resetting property? In other words, it doesn't belong to me but I don't ever want to lose it under any circumstance.

    Pretty sure you can add resetting to any item that does not decay that you have within your possession, via the in-game command CUSTOMISATION.

    If you put a custom through it resets to you. If you want it to reset to someone else, you'd have to email about it, and pay in unbound credits.

    Unsure about journals, as you can go to Thera, and hand over the journal and your 50cr and have them made resetting that way, so they might not work in the custom system?

    Does anyone know whether the taste/smell of an item can be customised? If so, how much would it cost?

    Is there a maximum timeout? I set my timeout to 60 minutes but I swear it still disconnects me after like 20-30 minutes.

    @Anokhi That may be your router screwing you over.  If you're using Mudlet with GMPC enabled, here's something you can use to fix that.

    Make a timer, set it for one minute.  And in the box beneath, have it send this.

    sendGMPC("Core.KeepAlive")
