    I was HR11 or 12 when we converted from Guilds to Houses, as far as I recall. I think the highest ranked person (who hadn't been a HL) in the Guardians/Templars was HR14, so it's definitely possible. You are looking at a huge number of favours, though, especially if there aren't that many active, high ranking members of your House still around.

    What damage types are Runes and Runeblades and are any of them reduced by Ring of the Magus?

    Sketching Thurisaz and Hugalaz on the ground deals blunt damage.  Doubleslashing with a Runeblade is exactly like doing so with a normal weapon.  However, if you're asking about the runeblade Hugalaz proc, I always assumed that was blunt as well but I don't have anything to support this.

    Hugalaz rune (hailstorms) are cold damage, not blunt, according to Announce 2501; it was changed to prevent the Troll racial bonus triggering from them. If that was reverted it wasn't announced (in a post that contains "Hugalaz", at any rate). I believe the Hugalaz runeblade proc is also cold damage.

    With regard to the Ring of the Magus, that reduces magical damage so it wouldn't have any effect.

    Not sure what damage type hugalaz runeblade proc is, but it's not blunt, or at least not affected by the blunt damage icon power.

    Hugalaz on ground is blunt

    Hugalaz Runeblade is pretty much another jab with that rapier turned cold damage.

    For the MCONFIG options for mudlet's mapper, does MCONFIG duanathar true only work with non-custom eagle's wings? I have a pair, but they're custom'd, and even with the option true, the mapper never even tries to use it.

    Is there a way to fix that, as well?

    I do not believe the mapper checks, I know for other things it just assumes you told it the truth and attempts to use what you told it you have.

    Weird. It's never tried to for me, ever since I turned the option on, and I can't figure out why.

    Does the option only work with crowdmap as true, maybe?

    The clouds aren't mapped, so I think you'll need to be using the crowdmap for the pathfinding algorithm to be able to consider paths through them.

    If it's the checking for updates that's doing that, you can "mconfig update false", and just update manually every once in a while when you have some time. Not sure why else it would lock you up.

    So, just a tad confused on how the Shop of Wonders changes are going to work. All items currently sold will be discontinued or just some of them?

    I would assume that if any were discontinued it would have been stated in the Announce post, so if none were mentioned in that I'd assume all of the existing items are staying for now.

    The ones that aren't in the announce will go away, but weren't yanked immediately as they have been in the past.

    It locks up whenever I update or try to goto anywhere, period. It's the second that makes it unusable for me. With a laptop that has 256 megs of ram and 4 gigs of memory, I just don't question "why won't it work" anymore - I just go with "craptop is crappy". Before I got this, though, I was -sharing- a computer with the boyfriend. Yeah, no.

    @Jules The normal token is also consumed upon use. Unlike the normal token, yours will reappear in an hour, fully useable. Normal tokens you can only use once an Achaean month!

    The announce post mentioned that some would be removed, as usual, but with a 7 day delay.

    Ah, late-night reading comprehension strikes again.

    I think it's supposed to disappear on use of either, but honestly, I'm not sure. I know it's the same case for other people who own the token. Maybe @Tecton, @Cardan, or @Makarios know.

    It is supposed to disappear on ship return as well, yes.

    If you want to save it for your rescue and don't want it to be used up on return, you can put it in your pack until you need to rescue out.

    Why do I see people customising Magi staves if Priest maces cannot be customised? The only difference is the mace has stats.

    Actually:

    wp staff
    It is a one-handed weapon.
    Damage: 100  To-hit: 150  Speed: 150
    A shadowy staff of restrained power has no venoms or magical effects on it.

    And I don't know what the reason behind it is but magi staffs and sylvan quarterstaves are listed down as customisable.
