  • You can get -close- to a level 2 lash if you're willing to pay your friendly neighborhood autistic forger (Hi @Peak!) to get you a 190 or so.

I coughed up a nice chunk of change for a 62/169/193, but you should be able to shake an 180 speed whip loose, that'll get you to about a 3 second garrote.

By the way, it's possible (really unlikely) to forge a 200+ speed whip.
  • Why the... foozle, is moss so freaking rare? You'd think it'd be more common with 2/3rds of the continent switching over to potash but nooooo, *grump*

Moss is a pain to harvest.

  • Right, but forestals were basically providing everyone with moss before and it was expensive, sure, but it wasn't as scarce as it is now. Now the customer base for moss has dropped significantly you'd think that supply would be easier to get. Why isn't it?

What it comes down to is the amount of people actually going out to harvest. I'm a forestal and I buy potash usually. There is a small factor of natural underground rooms vs. constructed, but I think that's not as bad as people say.

I've been called unsavory names when stating my price for moss, which makes me quite disinclined to sell it. I'm always open for negotiating prices, but when I state my starting bid and get called nasty things by people, it makes it not worth my time, ICly or OOCly. I know a few others have had this problem as well, which might be where the scarcity of sellers is coming from. Not sure why it isn't in more shops, though.
  • And yet you don't reply to my moss ads. I might not purchase your moss if I feel the price is too high, but I won't be mean about it.

I've always thought the price of forestal cures to be higher than alchemist. Is this still true? I don't know. I'm forever buying alchemist cures because they have cooler sounding names or something.
Potash only. Gimme the blue stuff babay! No chili powder either.

     i'm a rebel

  • No, I get paid for them. (Sometimes)

I overpay and I still have trouble with alchemists :(

Some plants seem to grow faster than others too, or rather the quantitirs seem higher. Forest plants are almost always very low compared to say.. hilly areas or jungles and swamps.

I really have major issues with vegetables. They grow so slowly, in such small quantities that gathering for those is not even worth bothering with. It's faster and more lucrative to kill and butcher plant things.

Out of curiosity, how many forestals have houses with different environment types just to have available plants? Do other people do this besides me?

  • Does anybody have a list of the questions asked in the Quiz yesterday??
And what were the prizes out of curiosity?
  • Jonners owns no subdivision house. To be fair though Jonners doesn't harvest.

  • Are pets supposed to drop from your inventory when you die or not? I have some that do (older ones) and some that don't.

Custom credit ones don't seem to but crated ones do from observation.

Is there a forum function that allows you to WTF react to people's signatures?
Tvistor: If that was a troll, it was masterful.

I do not own custom credit ones. They all came from crates (I think). Question remains.
  • I've seen posts before saying that some drop and others don't, seems pretty arbitrary and I'm not sure what the intended behaviour is supposed to be. Could try filing a BUG or an ISSUE ME and seeing what the response is.

  • How long after committing suicide is the name available for use again , the help file says a short while , are we talking a week, month , year , couple days?
  • @Towser the name is in the database until the admins go through and purge all the unnecessary stuff out. I don't know exactly how often they do that, but I'd imagine its just a couple of days.

  • Anyone have any info on the Sentinel changes? Like how fast a 242 speed is, how much the speed stat was increased on forged axes compared to before?

Don't know about speed, but curious too. As for the second part, the handaxes damage was lowered by 10 and speed raised by 10 retrospectively. Also, handaxes can now only be thrown, not used for hack, slash and swing.

Edit: sorry, confused to-hit with damage :/ to-hit is the same as before.
  • To-hit was lowered as well? Should have been the damage stat that was reduced to account for the increased speed.
