depends on the org. I would enemy you, so I could then kill you with worldburn/gravehands because i'm too lazy to fight you properly.
Yeah, but I wouldn't attack you. Killing someone with their own system is just plain bad manners.

Q: Can you be org enemied for attacking someone in Annwyn?
Depends really, it's Open PK and not Free PK, so there are consequences. I doubt the Ashura or Ashtan would ever enemy over it though.
  • Well, an org can enemy you for pretty much whatever they feel like. I can't imagine anyone actually enemying for attacks in Annwyn, though. Outside of @Mishgul's WB, of course, or if the "someone" in your "attacking someone" is actually a tree and the org is Oakstone/Eleusis/etc.

Shouldn't. It's like an FFA in there.
It's not actually? I thought you still have the right to hire/kill whoever attacked you there. They are allowed to attack you just for being there, but that doesn't mean they get away with it consequence free.

In the days of cause, deaths in UW/Annwyn generated cause, so you could kill someone outside or hire on them in retaliation for attacks there, but could not issue (as opposed to Nish where cause was not generated, either). Now that they're all just Treacherous Planes instead of specifically defined Open/Free PK areas, it's a bit more nebulous. If you have a convincing RP reason for retaliating against an attack on a plane where everyone is considered open to attack for any (or no) reason, then sure. PK cause (or RP justification for attacking someone) is a separate issue from enemy status, though.

If you go to Annwyn/UW, you would be stupid to expect not to get attacked. There is a warning that flashes every time you enter these places saying you're free to be killed. You don't need a reason, cause, or any justification beyond the fact someone wants to pk.

I've always found issuing and contracting over deaths in those areas to be hilarious. If it were anywhere else, I could maybe understand it, but people need to learn to deal with the consequences of hunting in those areas and just suck it up.

I never once whinged when a certain monk was practically farming me off plane. I got 1-2 deaths back, and hunting was exciting for a while.

So yeah. People shouldn't get org enemied unless they are dusting shrines, because attacks on -you- are not attacks on your cities (aka raiding) or your orders (aka defilement).

  • Agree with every word of that post @Kyrra. I'd almost go as far as saying that entering those planes is inviting people to attack you, but I guess I'm in the minority here. So, I guess the answer to my question is that I might well get enemied/hired/hunted-off-plane for lolganking someone on Annwyn.  Thanks to everyone who answered.

  • Issuing in those areas would be stupid, yes.

  • @Tecton Are we getting more artifact packages added this month?
  • KyrraKyrra Australia
Please no, I budgeted and everything so I could shop until the end of the month! :(

Does the free trait reset also reset your specialisation or do you need to use the reincarnation to do so? If so, can you reincarnate into the same race?

You need to use the reincarnation to reset your specialisation. Yes, you can reincarnate from X to X. I reincarnated from Siren Fury to Siren Guardian.

  • No, resetting traits does not reset specialisation. Reincarnating does, even if you go to the same race.

  • @Sylvance I'm curious about why you think a look at stats might/should be on the to do list.

Is there a way to see only names and not titles on SQUINT and LOOK/QUICKLOOK? If no, config option please.

Capturing names in the room is hard

There's "WHO HERE" for ql. Won't show those you can't see, like without thirdeye/lifevision, of course.
  • @Antonius - I'd like to see more builds viable for each class, preferably one for each stat. I know that's a big ask, so this isn't what I'm asking for but I wonder if more couldn't be done in that direction. Given that a weapons overhaul is on the cards, as wondered if stats were being looked at in tandem.

I don't think that's a good idea because of stat arties.

@Bambizlo - Could you please elaborate?

  • Sure. The problem is if you make a class viable with possible builds for each stat - for the sake of argument, let's call this "monk", you're going to run into a situation where someone's going to buy +3 stats in everything and just end up being way over the top in every area In essence, I feel that changes classes to be as you suggest would allow it to scale far, far too well with artifacts.

Peoples names (and hidden serpents for now cause gmcp is stupid that way) show up in gmcp.Room.Players the first time you enter the room. When people leave or enter (and you can see them do it, so evade in detection) there are gmcp.Room. RemovePlayer and gmcp.Room.AddPlayer events so you can update your whoHereList or whatever you call your table.
  • Lottery questions!

@Tecton @Sarapis is the lottery currently bugged? I am not sure if it is supposed to roll over on the serenade between Saturday/Sunday or Sunday/Monday (I thought the first one, but someone else said the latter), and it currently says

The IRE lottery prize is currently 10000 credits.
You have purchased 0 tickets in the lottery.
The lottery is not running currently.

    - does that mean it has been cancelled, or? D: I thought it got reset to 5k credits if a winner got chosen.

    - is there a way to see ticket numbers, or tickets across your account? Crazy curious if I got close or not, but I imagine it would be hell trying to print out batches of 3,000 ticket numbers for people who have that many.

     i'm a rebel

  • @Tesha, there's no such thing as "close" is there? A miss is as good as a mile.

How exactly does the pendant crit boosting work? I recently purchased a fire pendant, and there is no way that it is just a 2% boost considering that I now crit SIGNIFICANTLY more than I did pre-pendant at level 75. It's shaved nearly half the time off my hunting runs and I am earnestly debating updating the pendant to the tier 2 variant, if I am going to get double the benefit again.

Couldn't agree with you more. Fire pendant has made me WTF before when I've just owned my way through Creville. It's a thing of beauty.

It adds 2% to your base crit rate, so at level 76, it should take you from about 13% crits to about 15%. This also means that 15% of your crits will be at least crushing, instead of 13%, and so on, which makes it a bit more noticeable.
