Is 2h (Infernal) hunting still considered superior among the four weaponmastery specializations?
Dual blunt doesn't seem bad, and I feel it was decently useful in group combat, but I'd definitely switch if it's faster/worth the change. A brief forum search had some comments from 2017/2018, but I'm not sure if any substantial changes have come since then.
Do playful budgies eat anything? Do they have any reacts other than pet?
Also, when placing tulip pots, do you need to do it as furniture, or just drop and flame? Also, do they react at all to things like watering etc?
The plant pots are supposed to be tied to the owner, so once you drop it, only you are supposed to be able to pick it up. You can test with a friend. To my memory they don't react to things but they have room messages. A number of the seemingly innocuous flowers have an ...odd... room message.

2H is the best for Knight hunting if you can afford an artie sword, especially once you start critting heavily and turn things into mist with a x8 crit. If artie weapons aren't in your future, DWC/2H/DWB are all very close to each other and SNB is way behind.
edit: I don't remember forged bastard numbers, but L2 with focus speed is about 3 seconds, L3 with focus speed is right around 2.8 seconds.
I don't know if thats the best way to phrase it, directly referencing the wiki IC is definitely a no no, but the knowledge on it is pretty free to use IC as if it came from some sort of public library of history.
Right. You can't say "this was on the wiki", obviously, but you can use it as if your character knows it.
Really handy for me since I don't have perfect recall. I get asked almost daily something like "hey you're old, remember this <insert super specific question from an event that happened 13 years ago>?"
I find it a bit weird that we somehow ICly have the Tsol'teth's private notes though... That doesn't make sense.
I just imagine that the reports are being intercepted by some Delosian spy or something and posted publicly.
But also, the Tsol'teth pretty much shout everything that crosses their mind. They're probably just posting their secret missives publicly because they love sharing, or maybe they don't understand the boards are public!
Maybe when they shout and various Achaeans respond to them, they're thinking "Tezlari-tarin interception of communications remains unexplained. Further investigation is needed," and scratching their heads.

Thanks, that's a good answer.
Also, I now have a headcanon that somewhere there is an old denizen scholar, probably in the Lucretian Athenium (sp) who makes/acquires the Events news posts. Also, she's a passionate historian, so she doesn't share anything without verifying the facts.
To do this, she has an expert spy network, and/or mystical abilities/artefacts like the Universal Membrane. And of course, some of the more gloating types send her their notes directly, but she still verifies them before posting.
Does anybody know what this is: A sharp, refreshing scent comes to you on the breeze.
I see it a lot now. I don't know if it's ambience, or maybe it's connected to some vines, but it's oddly soothing to see after losing the city. Bit like a part of Cyrene always follows you. I'm a sap that way.
"Alas. Alas for Hamlin. The Mayor sent east, west, north, and south. To offer the Piper by word of mouth. Wherever it was men's lot to find him, silver and gold to his heart's content. If only he'd return the way he went."
It is reclamation refresh, which is a healing tick for anyone who stands in the vines - doesn't respect enemies or allies or anything. The vine owner is probably doing that for the sake of Tide hunters.
I tested it a lot, and Palusa is pretty on point. You're still not going to really be using Arash unless you can mow through the area. Even places like Moghedu are rough, I managed it with my death cape fully stacked (around ~9.9k hp) but I feel like Mir is generally better for bashing places like that. Sanya is fine as well, for the most part (barring rooms with 2 keepers or a Temelin for example). Damage per hit isn't that much higher in Sanya, but the balance is noticeable.
For reference: Double knight hit in Mir:
Versus double knight hit in Arash:
Yes this is with armour/toughness etc. Keep in mind all stances that aren't Arash have some innate damage reduction now, albeit not as much as Mir.
Okay, I was curious about this since it was my classlead so I wanted to math it out appropriately.
I ran into Dun and got smacked by a single orc on loop for each stance. I turned on a bunch of mana drains and discarded any damage tick with a mana increase since it was likely that a regen tick happened concurrently (the numbers were low enough to support this concept). I took the first 50 numbers for each. Standard deviation was about 15% for all sets.
Damage compared to unstanced:
Arash: 119.3% (probably 20% damage increase)
Sanya: 90.4% (probably 10% resist)
Mir: 77.0% (25% resist maybe?, probably need larger sample set)
I didn't test Thyr or Doya because I don't think anyone would be bashing in those.
My personal feeling is that, if I can do in area in Arash, I do it because mobs melt and it feels flashy and powerful. The DPS is very high (it feels equal or higher than serpent, maxed out arties for both) and makes me badly want a Maya figurine because of how big the hits end up. It feels like 2H but significantly faster.
Otherwise I use Sanya, Mir feels way too slow and if I want to get be tanky I'd just swap to dragon. For those who can't do that, it's definitely an option for the harder areas.
Thank you for taking the time to gather data and present that! I also happen to agree: Arash is my "Haha its gnolls" stance that only breaks out of its isolation chamber for mobs that simply pose no actual threat (EDIT: or mobs like the ferzels in Blackrock that have that pesky health drain I want to take out quickly) I will actually use Mir over Sanya though, on the basis that an already ponderously slow troll specialised in CON then just has an absurd amount of survivability, its saved Palusa's hide more than once after reaching 81 and clearly hitting the next tier of tide spawns.
I can see why BM is regarded as one of the good hunting classes. That level of option to fight defensively against tougher npcs, but then speed up the hunt against wimps alone is amazing, and then you couple it with the ability to tactically stun, and break shields of denizens. I love it.

I'm sure she'll love it!
Yeah didn't think so and just reaffirms my point that I would rather spend it on tangible things and time/vacations with my family in real life.
She prefers white gold (why? Idk)
Me, I prefer bullion.

The wiki is also considered IC.

I'd die without the wiki.

It's a little bit like that.
Also, @Babel gets it
