Announce 4672 states that pummel can only be used off-balance following a staffstrike, which would imply that other Artificing moves remain unchanged. Still worth testing, though

Not that I am aware of. Weren't people using the order names were showing in as a guide on how long it had been since a character entered a command and used this ooc information to metagame who they would pick for theft targets?

Edit: I've been told to edit my response so I don't give away mechanics people still use. Instead : @Makarios would it be possible to alphabetise WHO list as well to get rid of the meta once and for all?

Riding Defence states that it's based on the strength of your mount. Does this mean its classification (medium horse, warhorse, legendsteed, etc.), its weight, some combination of both, or something else entirely?

It has to do with its classification (legendary, warhorse, etc), but there's some level of variety within that, even. As far as effective dexterity goes, it ranges from no bonus to +10 points, but is very rarely above 4 or 5, I think?

Defence (which only provides a dodging bonus, nothing else) is based on the mount's numerical level, not classification. It also depends on your riding skill, and one of the major traits reduces the bonus.

Trample has been rumoured to depend on weight and a lot of other things, but I've never seen evidence of it (I did some brief testing of weight years ago, but without two mounts of the same level and different weight I couldn't definitively prove anything either way). I would assume it's just the numerical level, but I'm not sure.

@Tanris' roc was a legendary custom pet and that thing almost never quad broke anyone with trample. Hated that thing.

Custom pets have tiny might though. The powerful steeds were always more reliable.

There was some rumour back in the day that it wasn't necessarily the weight but that flying mounts had less success in quad breaking.

Flying legendsteeds are a lower level than non-flying legendsteeds.

To my knowledge, it's just the level of the mount, and non-flying mounts are just higher level than flying mounts of the same category as a rule. Pet mounts, while Legendary, are relatively low-level, and so aren't as good as real mounts at Trampling. (Or Jousting)

Is there a way to show values on the in game prompt as a percentage? I saw the text and numeric option in the help file but that's not what I mean.

I'd like something like: min/max numericHP, percentMP, percentEP, percentWP etc

The prompt allows for a lot of customisation, including displaying various values as percentages, the details are in HELP PROMPT.

I agree there are a lot of ways to customize the prompt as seen in HELP PROMPT, but nothing about setting values as a percent other than your target's health. I was hoping it could be done but maybe its not documented.

It's not documented completely, but you do have the right to ISSUE ME and ask the administration really nicely if they'd be willing to update the help file with the full list of options (or at least the options they're willing to give us). I had to ask on here earlier, because I was trying to figure out the same thing.

Big part of the problem here is that a lot of people use a Svo/Wundersys custom prompt.

Hmm, running total is something we can look into, sounds like a good idea.

I generally would say that while the information in organisational/essence logs is IC, the presentation is generally just more easily followed if its OOC. Note that org logs use OOC timestamps and such for that reason.

It looks like the help file is pretty out of date. Options that aren't listed include:

*%h, *%m, *%e, *%w: Current health/mana/endurance/willpower percentage
*3, *4: End/will change since last prompt (it already lists *1 and *2 for health and mana)
*x: Current xp rank
*a: Current morph (just for metamorphosis, as far as I know)
