I have 7 Talisman caches. Should I open them or sell them? 

People say Death cape sells for a lot! People also say Mark pieces tradein for a lot!

I don't know what to do.

if they can open for death (which you can check by OPEN CACHE to see what it opens for).  You can make a LOT of money off of the death pieces...

If you can find a buyer, and IF you get the luck of the RNGods to get all 4 pieces.

Mark pieces aren't exactly the most useful, but you're bound to always get them, and they'll always give you nice trade ins (compared to a lot of the useless pieces in death that just give 10cr for tradein).

Not ideal because I'd have to type it out somewhere else and then copy-paste to my input window. No chance to have one last look at it before hitting Enter. On the other hand I'd know when / if it got accepted or rejected.

OK, so they do sales where you buy artefacts directly for dollars. What about the kind in which artefact costs are lowered in the IG shop ?

Highly unlikely that will ever happen again because it was a really bad promotion from IRE's perspective.
