Is there any information on how long, exactly, an Achaean day is and how the day is divided up and each phase (morning, dawn, early afternoon, midday, etc.) take?
That depends on how much exactness you're looking for, really.
First, I'll go over the standard/typical values.
Converting to 24-hour time (IC hours, dividing the day into 24 hours of 60 minutes each), with midnight being 0, the parts of the day begin at: 00:24 = after midnight 03:12 = before dawn 04:48 = dawn 05:12 = early morning 08:48 = mid-morning 12:00 = midday 12:24 = early afternoon 15:12 = late afternoon 18:00 = sunset 19:12 = dusk 20:48 = night 24:00/00:00 = midnight
An Achaean day is one RL hour. So an Achaean minute (not typically used in-game, but useful for the above values) is 2.5 RL seconds.
That won't always perfectly match the actual timing, though. It's sometimes delayed a bit (a few seconds). I have some data from a few years ago about how much variation you might see, here (and the following two posts from me). Those same delays seen on day lengths should apply proportionally to any smaller time increments.
I have that dc'ing issue too and I don't use Mudlet. I'll look at router settings and report back.
Yeah it's not exclusive to mudlet. It happens to me on mush and other clients I've used in the past.
I get around it by just sending the core.keepalive(sic) on a timer, mine is set to 15 seconds which I found keeps my connection "100" without me feeling greedy about looping commands to the server. That will keep my connection alive and reactive for...ever, really (as has been mentioned already).
That also works well, for me, with setting my timeout to 3 minutes. If something happens to my machine or connection or power or whatever, it brings a nice piece of mind knowing I'm not sitting there completely vulnerable and unable to respond for very long.
I feel like that's at least part of its intended purpose. If not, it sure kicks ass at it.
That router stuff is interesting though and I've heard it mentioned in the past. Probably time for me to just set it, even though I don't really have this problem anymore.
Yea, I use to have the same thing until someone mentioned it was a server thing. I have a Timer in Mudlet that uses sendGMCP("Core.Ping") every 50 seconds and I don't have any problems with sudden d/c's anymore and works with long timeouts
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.
What's the oldest class currently without a major rework to how it functions/kills people?
I'm thinking Serpent if we don't count the Dexterity rework / Monk if we do.
Almost certainly jester. Monk got some adjustments to how it goes about things last year (wrench, mind scythe, etc). Serpents pretty static but has had some changes like lightwall/hypochondria,. Jester hasn't really been touched other than to have various things toned down.
Is there a way for custom prompt to show the percentage value of your current health and/or mana? I don't use a curing system to supplement Serverside, but I would like to know when I'm in the danger zone of %mana based instant-kill abilities.

I think you can use %h and %m, even though they aren't listed in HELP PROMPT. There is a month or three ago about them. I don't think they added one for endurance and willpower though.
What's the closest thing to a "pet class" in Achaea? Occultist?
Basically what Tydas said - Depending on how you define "pet".
If we change that to "familiar" class, you get a broader result that includes entities such as angels or demons or weird bloodslugs from another dimension. There, occultists arguably takes the cake, since they have so many. They aren't cheap to summon though.
There are other options that arguably feel more like having an actual pet, such as a knight class with their falcon. Those they actually train to get stronger, take care of and keep safe, and can command to do a multitude of things.
It depends on how much interaction you want. Would you mind if you have to resummon a new pet everytime, and would like one you can train and customize? That would limit your options.
I have a quick question for @Nicola@Makarios. Since we're switching to a new server friday...is there any chance of having Anarchaea on the old server during the change?

0:01 = after midnight
0:08 = before dawn
0:12 = dawn
0:13 = early morning
0:22 = mid-morning
0:30 = midday
0:31 = early afternoon
0:38 = late afternoon
0:45 = sunset
0:48 = dusk
0:52 = night
1:00 = midnight
E.g., at the stroke of midnight, your fulcrum will last another 12 minutes.
Yea, that one!

I doubt it can be used between Meropis and Sapience though.
Figured out it needs the * before it like so: *%h or *%m
--CONFIG PROMPT CUSTOM *hh (*%h%), *mm (*%m%), *ee, *ww *b*d
4017h (100%), 3409m (90%), 18030e, 16800w exdb-
Elaboration: I think you can do the color tag for health on your mana and your mana would turn yellow if your health dropped.
I could be thinking of Aetolia though.
