Oh, no no. Achaea doesn't have the technology required to build sporks I'm afraid. Spoons yes. Forks - of course. But sporks? Goodness no. Your local blacksmith or cutlery maker quails at the thought of the impossible difficulty.
My ass I quail. Bring that shit on.
I believe in Trey! Let the spork making begin!  :o

  • I forgot but how much lessons are in 100 credits?
"Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back."
  • 600
    6 lessons per 1 credit

  • Okay, thanks
"Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back."
  • Worth mentioning @Decron, make use of the no-brainer lesson packages before buying credits for lessons if you're spending RL funds. Much better value for your dollar.

  • Thanks @Trey and I also got another question I know you can't give your second char credits that you earned IN Character but what if you bought them off the web site? like buying a artefact in the create your cart but you sell the artefact and give your second char the credits? Is that still consider breaking the rules?
"Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back."
  • If you buy credits from the website or get credits for OOC things (like as payment from other players for something OOC), you can transfer them freely between characters.

Trading in artefacts gives you bound credits (credits which are bound to the character and can't be traded/sold at all) though, so that specific example isn't possible.
  • Alright
"Pain or damage don't end the world, or despair or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then you've got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man, and give some back."
  • Is transfering credits acquired IG actually against the rules?

It's never come up as an issue for me, but I always thought it was more a "frowned upon" thing (and moreso by player factions than admin) than an actual rule.

       - transferring items or gold between your characters, even with an intermediary

Using the credit market as an intermediary is still an intermediary.

    Also via HELP CREDIT TRANSFERS:

IC ways to gain credits (can't transfer freely amongst seconds)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    - Spend gold to purchase credits via the credit market.

So I've been wandering around the furniture showroom in Delos. I noticed that the jarrah wood I selected in the past for my furniture are no longer materials you can use, but has now been replaced with eucalyptus wood. Is this something that gets changed once every so often?

If so, that's pretty cool and it should continue!
No one makes furniture from jarrah. It's a blade killah.

Must be me confabulating, then. Wonder what I pulled it from originally.

I've been mounted this entire time thinking it does something. Weep.
I know I am late to this.  But when I ordered my bear for Erudite, I asked this question, since hunting has been my primary thing for him.

Here was what I asked. Copy pasted from the email chain.

"Thirdly, on the same subject does the defense skill in riding affect
    denizens? "

Here was the response I got from the email order for Sumomo. Cut and paste.

"Defence in riding increases your avoidance overall, whether versus players or mobs."

In all honesty though? I have fought something on foot, then mounted and the damage difference did not seem to exist. Legendary mount(custom pet) and trans riding. Or it is just so small it makes no difference. Either or.

@EruditeI'm pretty sure that non-pet legendary steeds trump pet legendary steeds but I remember that from years ago and I could be completely wrong. Anyone know for sure?

I jousted a considerable amount and it was my experience that I was getting trounced more often by artefact mounts. I believe the same mount level governs both, could be wrong though.

That would be awesome. Like I said this was years ago and I never owned a pet that served as a mount.
  • @Erudite It's technically possible to dodge (some) denizens, I believe, though nobody (other than devs, I imagine, and they don't seem to want to say) seems to know which.

When they say "Defence in riding increases your avoidance overall, whether versus players or mobs." they just mean that, for the denizens which can be dodged, the ability increases your chances of doing so. The damage reduction part of the Avoidance (capital A!) skill isn't what's meant when they say "avoidance".

Same email said they were equal I asked a lot of questions.

@antonius I've only heard of that in aetolia and if that is the case that should be stated outright and not left to be confusing and prone to misinformation

  • Forum  search is your friend:

Tecton: There are some situations where you can dodge denizen attacks (although not common at all), and avoidance comes into play here.

  • If it wasn't obvious i dont come to the forums much. I use ingame systems for most my information, the point was that it should be stated ingame through help files rather then being obscure legends you need to search through the forums to find.

  • My lesserform is serpent. The arties I have that are relevant to hunting are diadem/tfang/will ammy, that's it. No tank arties of any sort.

My question is: for dragonform hunting, is thoth's fang jabbing more efficient than the dragonform attack? it feels like it, but I'm really not sure what the "best" way for me to hunt is at the moment.

Bashing in lesserform seems like pretty much a no-go. Can't even tank Qurnok village or Tsol'aa rangers in lesser.

Thoth's fang was downgraded to 20 damage so I think gut will always be the preferred method for dform.

Does nightsight, assuming a ship's helm, melding with the figurehead, or using evasives, have a willpower upkeep cost? I'm trying to figure out what's draining my willpower constantly, the skills don't say anything about it, but I think it must be one of these, as I don't have the problem when not on a ship.

None of these actually make sense, unless it's multiple of them as I get it when I'm not using evasives or melded, and I ditched helm but I'm still getting it. I also had the issue before I learned nightsight. I can't think what the hell it might be though.

Shipwarning maybe? But annoyingly it still drains while in the cabin of a ship, even though you don't get the messages there.

  • Nevermind, looks like shipwarning is the culprit. I haven't noticed the supposed endurance drain though. Guess I'd better write a script to have it auto turn on/off when entering the cabin -sigh-.

Okay! It felt faster because it hits faster I guess, pretty sure it was a mind trick. I'll stick to gut now, thanks!

@Sarapis - For the Itinerant Bazaar, are the items going to be the same at all three times? If so, then I'd only have to plan to be here for one instead of all three (unless I missed something the first time), and I know a lot of other collectors wouldn't feel like they had to plan to be here for those three times.

I forgot to add... is the Friday/Saturday/Sunday is on American time, right? Because when it's Friday for me, it's Saturday for my Aussie friends and on GMT.
