  • As far as I could tell (when I had gathering), it just has a chance of happening when the plant is really sparse. It's definitely not something new.
  • I remember reading House descriptions when I first started playing Achaea on the Achaean website. They were really well written. Does anyone happen to have them still?

  • Quick query, does anybody know or have an idea of (or can make a decent guess at) the strongest individual mob? As in, the one most likely to one-shot anything that attacks them, or if not one-shot, then at least shredding attackers into a fine mist in short order.

I'm guessing it's one of the honours mobs, but I suppose there are others (e.g. Black Boar, Sycaerunax, Han-Tolneth, loyals like Han-Silnar?) who might also qualify.

(The immortal ones or ones that just do an insta-kill don't count.)
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

Ugrach would be a decent bet; that's partly due to the death knights in the room with him, but his attacks are strong on their own, as well. Oberion has one especially strong attack, iirc, but he cycles through a few, so might be a bit variable; also has company, though, so likely to shred you quickly if you stay in the room with all of them. For other just flat strong attacks, I'd guess Yuthka, Yuddhi, maybe Chenubis. There's also that new Storm Whatsis of Vastar's, not sure how bad it is.

Edit: also not sure how the city guardians stack up.
  • So I don't know if this should be happening or not, but I just logged in to find that I have all elemental channels open. Last I knew all channels were lost upon logging out?

What's the appropriate term for "followers of the Bloodsworn"?

(genuine question, please refrain from petty namecalling)

Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."

I know that at least for sylvans it persists through death and logout, not sure but wouldn't be surprised if it were true for others.

stormshaper does 2K damage per second, blacks out, and can quadbreak.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!"
Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh."
Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

Aurora's order are the Aarash Kheyr, more commonly called the Aarashi. Deucalion's are the Caefir Conloadh, or more commonly just the Caefir.

Only if you're stupid enough to annoy it though.

  • 2k damage per second seems weak as hell in comparison to Ugrach, not including the death knights in the room with him.
  • If it's not limited to currently existing denizens, there were some insanely strong ones during the Bal'met event, such as the dala'myrr and the shades of the gods that were killed.

Ugrach is the most ridiculous shit ever devised. He is literally being coded to be unkillable without just flagging him as unkillable.  To my knowledge, since the latest changes, only two people have killed him (and the method is insane). Honestly, if he hits you, you lose.

I always wondered, how tough is Spawn?  Quisalis GM is also a pain. .

The spawn was disappointingly weak, even after a bunch of Occies fed themselves to it. We got a big bunch of people together and killed it, didn't take too long. Nayuu got the kill, I think. But, that was before they made changes to a lot of "boss" denizens like Ugrach, so if it's still summonable (I don't think it is?), it might be a lot stronger now.

well, @Naverre, it boils down to this : are there still orphans in ashtan?
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!"
Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh."
Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

  • It's been a while and I don't remember all of the particulars of the quest, but I'm pretty sure there are in fact things that were involved that are no longer in the game. The quest involved more than just orphans (and, as I recall, it required so many orphans that Ashtan's alone weren't enough - people had to steal them away from Shallam, which would obviously present a problem now).

I don't remember where, but I thought one of the gods had actually explicitly said it was no longer possible at some point too.
  • KryptonKrypton shi-Khurena
Since all the orphans went down with the ship during Sycaerunax's attack on Ashtan, in all likelihood it is impossible for us to raise the Spawn as normal. But never fear!

Sorry, back spaced your name on my phone.

Spawn today would be very weak - easily kill able by any Dragon. Gets stronger with every kill, but i don't remember him doing more than 1.5k a hit back in the day, but pretty quickly (back then everyone had less than 4k health, with most being around 3k).

It's not no, it only works for the owner and you cannot take people along with you.

  • Is there a way to see what forging descriptors you are expert/master in or where you are in terms of mastering a descriptor? I have gotten the message that I've reached expert or master in a couple of descriptors but would be nice to be able to see the status (or else I need to start writing this down!).

You can't take people with whether they have their own pebble or not. When you touch the portal you, and only you, gets sucked through instantly to land at the other side.
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.

    Yea, that one!

FORGING SHOW <descriptor> will tell you your progress for that descriptor. I don't know of a way to see a list of which ones you've mastered, short of checking every descriptor individually. It's not hard to write a script to track/manage them more easily, or have someone make one for you.
  • FORGING SHOW (descriptor) is exactly what I was looking for, thanks Sena!

    It does not, no.

  • What does it mean when someone's age is 'lost in the sands of aeon' how old is that? I can find the age of Erebus, who is said to be the first adventurer in Achea (436 years old), so I figure it can't just be those who were born before a certain date. How does one get such a description?

It means they own an hourglass from the shop of wonders, it can be turned on or off to show one's age or hide it.
