- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."
I think I was busy getting brain-blasted by the other one at the time.

I love how literally nobody's stuff seems to support player names with apostrophes. If there wasn't already the precedent for Tsol'teth names to include them, I'd almost think it had been done specifically to counter automation.
My targetting got all screwy because of it... had to add the names directly to my isTarget function to make it work. Was super confused when I started DSLing the guy and my highlights weren't popping up at all.
Looks like you're getting the thrown from an adjacent room line, rather than the in-room attack line, when you miss due to clumsiness. Definitely a bug.
Depression (Shadowmancy) Known: Yes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: SHADOW INSTILL <weapon> WITH DEPRESSION Details: This instillation causes your foe to become depressed. Depression is a curse created by an ancient Tsol'teth Overlord, and its danger is in its long term effects. For each phobia or madness that the victim suffers from, they will suffer in both body and mind when the symptoms manifest themselves.
Note that if the subject already suffers from depression, this instillation shall give nausea, then hypochondria, and finally, if all other afflictions are present, both anorexia and masochism simultaneously. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loop (Aeonics) Known: Yes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: CHRONO LOOP [BOOST] Details: This Aeonics spell is cast upon a scythe manifested via Shadowmancy. While imbued into the blade of a scythe, the next attack with that scythe shall lock your foe into a timeloop, which, until cured, shall result in all Shadowmancy-based instills delivering two afflictions instead of one.
When boosted, the loop effect shall benefit the attack it is delivered upon with this effect as well as subsequent ones.
Note that this spell is unique in that, due to its instability, you must have regressed to below 250 extra years of age in order to invoke it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The depression curse damages their hp and mana every time a phobia or madness procs something (running away in fear, seeing hallucinations, etc.). It's why Kasa hilariously died when he ran away in fear from Ryzeth. The instillment itself applies the curse, then a bunch of other afflictions in a series with each hit.
Timeloop is an affliction that you apply via a scythe attack, in lieu of a venom. The aff makes it so any instillments (like depression) instill two steps instead of one. So one hit inflicts depression curse AND nausea, at the same time. Hit again, and it'll do hypochondria, anorexia, and masochism, provided they haven't cured anything. Boosted timeloop allows it to affect the instillment of the hit that applies the timeloop, otherwise it's just all future hits while under the affliction. It's one of those things that needs to be really high in your cure priorities or you're screwed.

DW is gonna be a lot like Shaman/Apostate, I think. Where it's going to be really hard to prio effectively vs a good one. It has an -extreme- kelp stacking route as well, with the ability to give virtually every single kelp aff there is: Parasite, Clumsiness, Hypochondria, Asthma, Weariness, Clumsiness, Sensitivity, Healthleech.
Justice, Retribution, Timeloop are all Cuprum/Bellwort. All 3 can be given at once with Loop-Boosted + Retribution. Retri has a 3rd person cure line.
Depression/Madness are both goldenseal cures; the latter has a 3rd person cure line. Can't give curare with those 2 instills, but you can with the other 3 (degeneration, retribution, leach).
As my log shows it can also lock relatively consistently, madness makes focus balance 6s almost to give you 2-3 bals to stick either more mentals, or get hypochondria to tick.
Lots of fun stuff. Most of it is pretty telegraphed though, I think it won't seem quite so obscene when the hype wears off and people work out better ways to handle their class-specific afflictions. Same with when Sylvan/Sentinel got their new toys.
Room hinder is distort. Pretty damn effective, funny message when it procs. Gets less effective the more aging you have, so doing crazy aeonics will make it easier for your opponent to flee. EDIT: It's not really tentacles, it doesn't follow you if you move. It's more piety/gravehands in that respect.
It also has a 15s (30s if boosted) ability that lets you follow people when they move, even if you're off balance. So long as they don't gallop/fly (our fly isn't much slower than RoF either, and that's pre-diadem)
Being away from the DW when attune (passive aff) ticks will make it end prematurely, too.

Is this a bug or am I just that good at missing?
