    7 seconds to go from hitting totem to dead. Four of which was them going ham with stacking affs so tree/focus had shitty odds.

    I was surprised when duanathar worked and I survived while locked for a few seconds while Dunn kept jabbing me. Usually when I see that gross orange text next to my prompt, I just give up, start an embrace death timer for about 15 seconds and go get something to snack on.
    I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

    Dude, I saw Bann at Eleusis, so I thought that's where you all were, so I thought I'd be cute and juke to Targossas...only to run into the fuck me wall. :D For reals though, did you -really- need the other three? I'd have totally just fought if it'd have been just you. TIME IN @Dunn, TIME IN!

    You had a splinter so gloves are off, really. I did chase you solo and they showed up because they were after the same thing. 

    No, they weren't necessary at all. I don't have faith in anyone with a splinter to stand and fight, tho. I've been ganked waaaay deeper this event so I'll let you know if I get as deep inside of you as your squad has been inside of me.

    There's a reason I haven't been part of the big murder ball that rolls around lately. I actually feel really dirty about that shit, you'll note it's been probably close to five or six days since I've been a part of any of the ganking.

    I have noticed that, and my butt appreciates it. I only find solace in the post gank squad ganks so I haven't been too salty about it. The people I've ganked solo for gank squadding me tho wooooo boy. Saline saline saline.

    It's just...gotten so old that these events turn into gankfests. Nothing'd be cooler than like...two avatars duking it out at NoT, some random walks by and gets struck by a stray attack or something and gets turned into a slug.

    How do I live here?  I looks like I should have flown or ran on the double arm break (in the haze of it I thought it was double legs).  Is that the answer?

    It wasn't actually a double arm break, it looks like Svof's just not recognising damaged limbs from GMCP correctly in all cases. In terms of living, running on arm breaks is good advice, but honestly isn't going to keep you alive. You pretty much need to be pre-applying restoration to legs while fighting dual blunt, otherwise you're going to die if you don't kill them before they have whatever they want prepped (which generally happens pretty quickly if you don't have a ton of hinder).

    I see that now.  It's happened to me before, too.  Hmm.

    I've never tried pre-applying... anything.  Is it basically just having a feel for the class you're fighting and applying just before you think you'll be broken?

    You'll also want to be tumbling over walls (multiple rooms, if you can manage it, though it's suboptimal as defence, given you don't have anything to keep him in the room when you're gone, afaik), every second someone wastes looking for you/having to mountjump helps.

    Also, when you're prone and broken, don't drop rebounding for DWB. You kept using your attack alias, and that dropped your rebounding for him at least once (it drops with an aggressive action, even if you don't actually hit with it). When you're broken, let your curing take care of you, and don't lean on your attack!

    Finally, it's usually a good idea to shield or fly on a single arm break, don't attack (there are a few cases where it isn't, but solid advice in general). Sitting around off of restoration balance -and- actual balance against DWB is probably a death sentence.

    It's good practice when facing limb setups where prone is a factor that you manually spam apply mending + stand (seriously, just hold down the button) about when you expect resto to finish. It might've saved you!
