So...how the hell do you get away from a homunculus if they can stop any movement, mountjump, flying and duanathar?
Seems pretty imbalanced, but maybe there is something I'm missing.
You started to spam out of it, which is just bad. It's like piety, but includes flying. Need to wait until you're on balance to try again. Or kill the homunculus/alchemist.
You mean hamstring with homunculus? You take your hands off your keyboard, wait a few seconds until you're dead, then embrace death. You'll spawn at the cave with a few minutes of grace, which might let you seek refuge and therapy until they find you again.

Yeah, I realized that. If you notice more in the end I was waiting on writhe/stand to try to wing away.

My issue wasn't the BM's or their hamstring. The homunculus stopped me everytime I had a chance to move. I could have tried RoF, but I just tested that and it stops that too.
Just seems super overpowered. No other ent in the game can come close to that type of hinderance. Ghand and Piety at least don't stop flying.

What Jarrod said. It's on-par for both, although I haven't tried aerial on a homun just yet.
Throw a monolith and tumble the heck out is about all I have to suggest (or just tumble and pray they're not quick enough to brazier). Your ride home worked pretty well too. But yeah, there's just some things you can't fight solo, and your log is definitely one of them from the looks of it.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
I have no idea if this actually works since I never bothered to test it, but a quick pommel/strike nose should temporarily get a homunculus off of you, since it only blocks its current target and disloyalty would switch that back to the alchemist that owns it.

For a BM, this may work. Hitting with monks hood could do this.
I was also told that if the alchemist attacks then it resets as well.

This log is a great example of why magi is the one if the best newbie classes. It's completely evident that you have no clue what you're doing. All I see is you standing there and getting locked 3 times, doing absolutely nothing offensively for almost the entire fight, then dropping ret and game over.
@Chalos welcome to fighting magi, it's a salad fight. You can either lock them 15 times in a row and pray that you can kill them before bloodboil/necklace/reflect/rebounding, if you're lucky, but I recommend just practicing retardation, and getting a nice big bag of monolith and flame sigils. The only reliable way to kill magi as serpent is waiting for them to generously drop ret on themselves.
I wasn't doing anything offensively because I didn't think he was seriously fighting me. We were chatting a bit before he randomly attacked. Stop being bitter, Ernam

Gravehands and Piety both definitely affect flying.
Cascades of quicksilver light streak across the firmament as the celestial voice of Ourania intones, "Oh Jarrod..."

I was hoping to see an inundate sanguine/brokenstar kill in that log. Disappointed
Good to know. Thanks for clearing that up!Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Was Piety ever nerfed requiring caster to be near?
Tumble.
Yea, decay times speed up when caster isn't in the room I believe.
Raido?
From what I understand homunculus has a 33% chance to stop you. That chance increases for every temper you have against you. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Eat like a caveman, train like a beast. Champions are not born, they are made.
Yeah it is supposed to be 33%. Not sure about the humors thing. Maybe @Makarios can clear that up.
I used raido but they ended up coming into my raido spot. I was stupid and put it kind of near instead of in Ashtan or something @Hasar

Only if they order it to (which by all rights they should, but some probably don't)
Also totally thought you were a BM for some reason. Yea just dsl like, monkshood/gecko or something and make a run for it.

There's something called being lucky as shit. I think I just had my very first experience of that:

Jesus on this topic again?
10 seconds apparently. Always thought it was 12
It's 10s, same as RoH, and is significantly better since it only heals venom afflictions.
Panacea might be 12, I forget.
Yeah, I tried this voyria thing vs @Gamoneterik and Hallelujah. Did not work.
And I don't even know what #2 means.
