Psychic combat is initiated by challenge. An adventurer challenges another adventurer (PSYCHALLENGE adventurer). The other adventurer has a short time (about the sixtieth part of an Achaean day) to respond with PSYACCEPT adventurer, after which the challenge fails. After the challenge is accepted, the adventurers will be transported to a special arena-like area reserved for psychic combat. Only seven commands associated with psychic combat may be used in these rooms, and most normal commands will not work. The psychic combat commands are
PSY BARRIER: At the expense of some mana, this protects you against Psy Blast.
PSY BLAST: Using your mental powers, you blast out at your opponent, attacking his mana.
PSY ESCAPE: Open exits from the psychic combat rooms. Takes quite a long time, and you may do nothing else during that period.
PSY MED: Regain mana, albeit slowly.
PSY PROBE: Use some mental energy to discover your opponent's mana level.
PSY SURGE: May end the battle. At a substantial mana cost to yourself, gives you victory if your opponent's mana is below half.
PSY WHIP: Lash out with your psychic powers to tear away your opponent's Psychic Barrier.

There was no bragging there. I just mentioned it was good teamwork, something I don't come across often. I did not, at any point go "lol look how bad I rekt these noobs, gawd too ez" or anything. It's a bit disconcerting to see such backlash for simply posting a log. Hell, the Eleusians involved could look at it, learn from it and fix their mistakes. Every fight is something to learn from. Also, I gank my fair share of combatants as well, with successes and failures like everyone else and I still have a ways to go before I master my class. Getting there, though!
