    looks like that timing beats a tumble too. 


    nice axekick buff. 


    It's nice to know they took all our criticism over axekick doing massive damage and responded to it by making axekick do even more damage. This is an almost universal buff in 1v1 for monks against a good majority of people.

  • Doesn't it also do flat percentage damage now? That's a big buff against well-armoured targets, too.

    I did all the testing for it, it's in another thread.  @Santar‌ : It ignores all buffs and defenses.

    It ignores damage mitigation, not defenses in general.  Things like reflection, defend, shield, prismatic, parry, guarding, deliverance, etc, still work normally.

    Haven't tested it on a truefavor yet.

    Truefavour should mitigate it yes. Mir, Algiz and Truefavours. Scales too

    Scales, Mir, and Algiz should not.  Dragon armor, regular armor, toughness, and dragon blunt resistance all proved to not reduce AXK damage. (which is the point)

  • The ones I mentioned are unblockable damage resistances, axk is unblockable damage type. Ergo

  • Truefavour mitigates it plenty. Hit Fendrel with a 6 limb full axk/ucp/ucp combo and it brought him down to 21% . He wasn't in Mir, either. Was in Sanya, I believe.

    Yeah true damage shields like that will reduce AXK's damage. Probably occultist orb as well.
