I will also take a batch, please and thank you with much promises to return the favour.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
No, not naive. After my discovery of the nutella cheesecake, I learnt very quickly to foist it onto others than to leave it in my house for longer then an hour...
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.

It was going to be an intricate Halloween creation but a combination of getting a flat tyre on the way to the ingredients shop, an overly long after work nap and a whole bucketfull of "Screw this", resulted in the below.
I would be ashamed but it's my birthday and screw this! XD
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
This was last night's "make the boyfriend happy so I can play achaea" dish. The recipe is below:
Four Tilapia fillets 1/3 Cup of white wine. I prefer American Sauvignon Blanc or a Riesling 1/8 tsp of Salt and Pepper 3 tbsp of unsalted butter or olive oil 1-2 cloves of garlic minced 2 tbsp of finely chopped mixed herbs (I use rosemary, thyme, oregano, and parsley) 1/8 tsp of paprika 3 tbsp of Lemon Juice Handful of Cherry tomatoes and Asparagus
Combine the ingredients together in bowl and baste it over both sides of the tilapia, tomatoes, and asparagus. Bake uncovered @ 425 degrees for 13 minutes.
So, my grandmother passed away at the start of this year, and mum and I decided to start a new tradition to remember her. Every year at christmas, she would make her home made christmas pudding. So that is what we've decided to do and much to my chagrin, mum insisted we do the whole lot the way nan did, by hand. I have no idea how my 88 year old, arthritic grandmother managed all that damn mixing every year, because I was sorely missing my mixing appliances by the end of it lol.
Everything we need to get to work...not seen in the picture was the brandy...for reason *shifty eyes*.
Butter and sugar creamed.
In go the eggs, 5 once all is said and done.
Flour
The batter to see you with!
The mixed fruit, breadcrumbs and almonds!
Preparing to be wrapped
All wrapped and waiting to be boiled
And away she goes. It gets boiled for 4 hours and then hung to be dried out. Once christmas rolls around, it gets boiled for another hour before being served.
I decided I would give 'microwave fudge' a go. I am unsure what the US considers fudge, but what it create (to me) wasn't fudge, it was truffle, so I treated it as such (rolled it in cocoa). Anyway, it is delicious, and makes a HUGE amount, and my house now smells like chocolate.
And I added sultanas soaked in Dissarono, then I rolled them in cocoa powder. To think of how much I made, this was half a strip from the pan, and the pan was cut into about 8-9 strips. So much...

A. You are totally right to question the Colonists' idea of fudge. Microwaving anything as a form of cooking is... strange to me. B. Sultanas! Yes! C. I think I'd still eat it on behalf of the alcohol abuse I would feel guilty of by saying no.

Plain crust. Chocolate fudge layer. Brownie chunks embedded in vanilla cheesecake. Salted caramel glaze.

My first attempt at noodles. I think I did good
Made up on the fly, the noodles cook better than they looked.
3 (14 fl oz) cans of beef broth,
generous pinch of cilantro, basil and oregano
season with garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
bring to a boil, and slowly add in 2 handfuls of fresh noodles, a small amount at a time, and wait for it to bring back up to a boil each time.
when noodles are added, add in the cooked sausage (I used 1 lb but up to 2 lbs can be used)
add carrots, onions and celery (all optional)
reduce to simmer and cook for about 15 minutes.
bowl and serve!
