    Ok! The server is now updated to the latest snapshot. I encourage you all to get on and begin exploring around. I'm going to be fiddling with the stuff for a bit. PM me if you can't get on. I might need to fix the whitelist.

    For those who don't know how to get on a snapshot:

    1. Open the minecraft launcher
    2. Click Edit Profile in the bottom left corner
    3. Click the enable snapshots box and select latest version from the dropdown.

    As a heads up for quirky 1.7 things.

    1. It doesn't appear that the 'hunger' effect is visible currently. Me and Kresslack were both losing a lot of fullness quickly, but once I cooked some food it stopped happening.
    2. New biomes are awesome.

    Did you back up the nether files at all?

    Of course. It's just giving me different nethers, and I dunno why.

    I'll think of something to do afterwards. I've copied and pasted the worlds both ways, meaning into a 1.64 server and into the new one. The new one gives me diffferent stuff at the coords, but putting it back into an old world always works. Dunno what's going on. There wasn't anything changed in the nether for 1.7 that I know of.

    I did this, and it still wont let me in :(


    Found the problem, make sure you use version 13w42b. Kera helped me :)

    I just hit 'use the latest' and it worked.

    Enchanting for silk touch to get these spires, get Fortune 3, suddenly -> full diamond armor because I have so much diamond why not >.>

    What's the address again? Wiped my computer, and I can't find the address since Jhaeli's site is down :(

    @Jarrod I am not certain you can mine ice with a silk touch pickaxe... I know you could at one point, but I also know they removed it at some point. I don't know where it currently stands.

    That's not normal ice, it's specific to those spires. It apparently doesn't melt next to fire, and some other stuff I forgot.

    I just checked too and ice can be mined with silk touch.

    Both @Hayte and I settled in the Mesa to the east of spawn house. It's a pretty huge place, so feel free to build your houses there if you want

    Will warn that there seem to be loads of witches spawning on the surface there.
    "Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"

    So after having found said mushroom island, I am starting up my own Mushroom themed amusement park. I've finished building my house and here's the first building at the entrance. Complete with mushroom block walls :P

    "Packed Ice" blocks are amazing (the blocks that make up those ice spires). Don't melt when next to fire or lava, very sweet.

    Having experienced it personally, I would strongly advise against it.
