@Kiet stole a golden kite he knew I wanted, only for it to reset once he gave it to me. Immediately after, while I'm pining on this to @Melodie, she surprises me with a gift she knew I wanted.

Melodie tells you, "Perhaps I have something for you that is better than a kite."
You sadly tell Melodie in Mhaldorian, "I don't know. It was golden..."

Covered in a mixture of golden feathers and tawny fur, this gryphon has the powerful body of a lion, matched by the imperious head of a great eagle and a resplendent pair of wings. Large, padded paws each end in a set of deadly, curved talons, and the fur is stained a reddish colour from ruthlessly tearing apart his prey. His long tail twitches back and forth behind him restlessly, and he periodically flexes his wings with a yawning growl. He is called 'Sunlight.'
A golden gryphon is quite powerful.
He has 100% health remaining.
A collar of Lupus encircles his neck.
He is mountable as a legendary steed.
He is loyal to Stheno.

The cutest thieves and cutthroats.

I have kept stupid hours today, but it was well worth it. The last week has been very engaging, but today I got to interact with many different faces, old and new, and right before I was headed to pass out, chat with perhaps my favorite denizen I've gotten to know in ten years. Was a great way to end a full and productive day. Thank you to everyone involved - I'd tag you but honestly I'm so deliriously tired that I will definitely forget someone. You know who you are, though!

But oh my god, my bed is calling me help.

Really fun ritual duel with @Elisella, and great arbitration / narration from @Ellodin as usual! I was pretty nervous throughout, definitely enjoyed it.

It was incredibly tense, especially with the crowd. Unfortunately, @Aegoth left before he got to see the explosion.

it's been very tense, every quarterfinal has been 3-2 so far.

Watching those duels was pretty amazing. Everyone's reactions to things was also pretty interesting to follow, and made things even more entertaining.

Also, whoever animated the traveller. Really loved the side conversation.

I'm very unhappy that personal matters have meant that I couldn't witness any of the quarter final duels (and will likely miss the last one), but @Ellodin (<3) saved a log for me and I have to say I'm very impressed by the quality of the duels and the arbitration by him and @Xandir. I heard there was a denizen visitor as well that I didn't get to meet!

Though I'm sad I couldn't be there I'm really happy that the Series can run on its own - that's the dream of every creator, to make something that people love and are willing to not only play along with, but put their own spin on it. My priority is to make sure that people who participate have fun, so the above makes me smile.

Still to come: semi-finals and finals! I can't wait.

Anyone can join the ritual duelling clan (CLHELP TCCIRCLE) and duel at any time, but as for this duelling tournament in particular, it will definitely make a comeback, I'm just not sure how long I want the interval to be. My next plan for it is a team-based version!

I am sad I haven't been able to participate! I saw all the posts about it but work has been a real drag and my presence is sporadic at best. Hopefully, and just maybe I can sneak in to watch the semis or the finals.

Just a thought, every 10 (in game) years, depending on reception on the next one.

Rave to @Babel and the entire babelite crew. The big man terrifies me, but every interaction I've witnessed or been a part of has been amazing, and the crew has been a blast to hang out with, whether it be nonstop killing, or sitting in the Caverns talking.

It’s been fun to pass the Aegean crew in the city between engagements. It’s like we’re two separate armies nodding as we walk by. Order identity has definitely made a strong comeback for Ashtan.
