If I was Ashtani, I'd be involved in these events. The fact that they're broadcasted to the world is itself an invitation. All you have to do is get out there and do things.
Maybe I'm just really inexperienced in this style of event, but how was Ashtan supposed to get involved here? If Ryldagh couldn't get a response from the Chaos Court, and the event happened mostly off-plane in unreachable areas, what opportunities were there for interaction at all?
Even the Cyrene bit seemed to happen in the span of minutes, which is almost an unreasonable time frame to expect someone to jump in on without prior warning.
What things should Ashtan be out there doing, without getting smacked down because "no it's a Caefir thing" exactly? I really don't mean that to sound antagonizing, I genuinely want to know, because I'd like to get involved I just honestly don't see how to. My Friday night ended in disappointment seeing no way to get involved with an unfolding Chaos story, other than shouting a bit, and the best anyone's come up with so far is "don't worry maybe Ashtan will get involved later."
The Mhaldorian Mayaween Ball was amazing!!! Everyone was so fun and it was just a great thing to be part of.
@Alrena - for taking the lead when I asked, with very little notice to have anything arranged.
@Stheno - thanks for making it easier on me to put my costume together by telling me where to find things, and for just having a great character to use as a costume. Also for making the "getting a date" part more interesting.
@Shayde - it was great to roleplay with you and step out of my comfort zone (more like, leap away from). We didn't have as long to plan as we thought we were going to, but it came out awesome and was very fun.
@Eleusis - I wanna pre-emptively thank you guys for providing Mhaldor with a few weeks of entertainment, thank you!
@Ysela - for your comment after that nearly made me spit out my drink. LOL.

The off-plane thing was nothing (in terms of something to "get involved in"). It was just a show of what happens out there on a regular basis behind the scenes. That's the lore: Deucalion and Aurora and their people are out there regularly fighting chaos things so Chaos doesn't destroy all the outer planes.
Targossas wasn't really "involved" there either. We just watched. When Babel was active, he took his followers to see a glimpse of the outer planes too. It's just a showing of what's going on out there. And everyone got glimpses of it from Prime too. The cool thing about it all was just being able to see it all happening, which everyone got some of. Maybe you just think more happened than actually did on our part.
I meant the stuff with Haldoran, which is the only part where we've been "doing" stuff mostly. If you don't know what's going on there, you should really find out IC though because it's ongoing.
Hashan and Mhaldor both got involved today, which provided good examples, and it honestly was a blast. I @Kasa and any other Hashanites who brought that on for that.
All you guys keep complaining about Ashtan not getting a chance to be involved in a chaos event.
We had a whole plague event with Caspiites and not a single Order denizen spoke to us. And people kept asking about Neroes like he was coming back and we had to keep on shrugging.
So yeah, your factional/order stuff isn't sacred if it's related to the event.
A frozen image of Haldoran La'Saen. Wiry and gaunt, Haldoran's figure hangs here from writhing chains, his haunted eyes expressing loss and failure in their mute depths. Barely smouldering, a pair of charred wings sprout from his shoulder blades, flowing down his back in a pitiful display.
That was such a solid, solid touch on how everything ended today. Can't wait to see what's next.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
I don't have the words to express how much today has been an absolute freaking blast. I've never been so involved with an event before and while I can't share anything of what happened on my end, I am super excited to see what happens next.
My only gripe is the UPCOMING happening while I'm at work on a Monday. I won't be able to log in at all to see what happens and I really, really want to. I want logs, please!

Today was definitely awesome, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next. I'll admit, the people who said Ashtan would get involved were right, and some of my concerns were unfounded. I do stand by my disappointment and confusion yesterday if only for the complete silence on Ashtan's end despite efforts to the contrary, but I get that not every event is going to satisfy everyone. I'd still like to know how we should have gotten involved yesterday, if only so I know how to approach things better in the future.
Still, had a lot of fun today, and that whole mess was chaotic and intense. This is what I signed up for!
You get 8007643 gold sovereigns from a dragonskin pack bearing the arms of Dairon.
You offer to commission a ship from Scurvy Jim.
Scurvy Jim says, "Excellent, excellent. Your ship shall be ready in 55 days time, at the harbour. Come back then."
Piss-poor broke, but I am now a proud owner of a war galley!
Many thanks to @Kyrra@Klendathu@Mindshell and others for helping me find ways to earn gold to afford this monstrous luxury. Special thanks to @Minifie for having a shipchit seal - I've been looking for that one for AGES.

Congratulations, and you paid well for that seal, I should be thanking you! Enjoy your Galley when it comes!
I'm glad we'll all get to see the traditional Chaos Lord wedding format. Ceremony, reception, consuming the groom... it's gonna be gr8.
Really, really want logs.

Tonight was definitely a blast--my first full game event involving everyone. I half expected the room to explode into combat at two points of the wedding, saved only by the limiting of controls to prevent just that.
Can't wait to see how things pan out in the future!
So I have really only been apart of one Divine event in my entire time playing Achaea and it was a House event. Either Im not logged in for others or I was apart of a City that was not apart of the event. Last night was a huge change for me.
Kayle joined Targossas for some direction in his life. He is still trying to get use to having such a strong religion and belief system that everyone follows in a City like Targ. He has never been apart of things like that. He just found out who Halderon? Was like a month ago because people were talking about him over city. He never really felt or understood the importance of him. On an ooc level I understood if but I didnt think it was as serious as it was.
Logged in last night right before the wedding and was invited to go. @Vender brought Kayle and @Elipise got him some formal wear as well (Big thanks you two).
During the event Kayle was lost and had a lot of emotions running through him. Seeing all the prayers go over ct and all the talking that was going on during the event sort of lit a spark for Kayle. Once Halderon died and Deuc starting doing his thing I felt that spark for Kayle grow even more.
It wasnt until after the event that Kayle saw his new city weep for the death of a great man that it all kind of struck home for him and myself.
We raided Ashtan afterwards and Kayle was determined for blood. Granted I died 9 times and didnt get a kill. I can honestly say that event was a huge turning point for myself icly and oocly.
Thank you for everyone involved with that event. On all sides of it. I cant begin to explain the kind of gratitude I have after stepping into a new city and immedietly having that sense of belonging and sense of wprth has on a player that has never really semmed to fit anywhere.
Regardless of the following events to happen. Kayle will be there and his fire will only grow for Targ and Deuc /forumrp

While I appreciate it a ton, @Farrah, I gotta say right now: I was barely involved. I could not be more proud of my friendlies right now, they grabbed the reins and charged in head-first to suicidal ritual danger without me having to lift a finger or even be there for the start of it. Big huge shout-outs to @Ehene, @Kybrae, @Mosr (especially), @Charlius, and probably a much longer line of names for showing up and showing out. Was a lot of fun.
@Karren Stole from me, it lead to a poem and now many people making it obvious they read it... IC it's shameful, but it's a mess of fun, I do appreciate the little core of hatred Mini now has towards him, and I'll get my revenge in due time .
This does not get said nearly enough, but @Aegis is incredible and awesome. Such a lovely taste of what it'd be like if Achaean did not exist as a language, and such a fun interaction. So much love!
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
@Daeir Fun IC public discussion following a bunch of shouts post-Chaos Court thingy. Civil, engaging, and good interaction that doesn't often get done enough with all the raiding going on. Kudos.
