Problem:

Holocaust, while really fun to use, is rather linear in its purpose. For a capstone trans skill, 

it's lacklustre in that all it brings to the table is damage. I believe thay it can be made more 

unique and intriguing than simply offering burst damage. Further, there are other roomwide damage 

skills that are not only more versatile, but are instantaneous in its effect while not being 

capstone skills (chaos rays come to mind, as well as breathrain). Ultimately, I want to tweak 

Holocaust to be more versatile and flavourful.

Solution #1:

Introduce elemental Holocausts! Air, Fire, Water, Earth. Each will have their own unique effect, 

while retaining a portion of the damage component they have now. EARTH: Limb damage to everyone in 

room equal to a dragon rend, perhaps? Or make it so that an Earth Holocaust knocks everyone off 

balance and prone for a little. WATER: Roomwide tsunami effect (a'la roaring wave gauntlets), or 

something along the lines of making the room underwater with periodic drowning. AIR: Knock everyone 

out of the room (a'la concussive). FIRE: Same effect as it has now, with the addition of it dropping 

Inferno into the room

Solution #2:

As above, but without the damage (except for fire)

Solution #3:

After many questions: yes, some variation on solution 1, probably different abilities, probably not 

these effects

Didn't they tentatively approve something like that before then not do anything with it? That seems like a candidate for sitting as "approved" until the next round of classleads opens up.

The Expert Diagnoser classlead is priority 1, so I'd assume that lower is better, here.

I really like the idea of the various holocausts. I'm thinking of going Magi for my next class slot as well. And truth be told, you've got the whole "Lord of Fire" thing down, so it may open up another option. 

I'm just so damn stoked my mind crush as a bashing attack went through.

I logged on out of curiosity, not intending to stay long. I didn't recognize anyone at all but then saw she was around so while we chatted, I was intrigued by all the new features (like traits, and class specialization).  I got hooked again, and so far I've been loving it (much to my rl-husband's chagrin (Fonetic) - he's still bitter about some silly IG stuff from years ago).
