Raves for @Morthif and @Caelan for making it a 2v2! Wish I could stay a little longer, but housework
Yeah, totally found an issue with my curing. Literally spammed my screen. Had to keep disabling triggers and trying to fix and not die manually. What a shitty defence leader I was today. So damn bummed about it because it wasn't like "oh we got bested" it was "my shit's being dumb OH NOES!"
Next time I won't let you bash so peacefully
You strong warrior. I want fight more. Light Goddess and Fire God say no fight. Fight other enemy.
To whichever Admin wrote that Events post there are no words to express how amazing you made me feel in your description of my part in this. Thank you!!!
and anyone else working behind the scenes on war stuff, like those events posts. This has all been amazing, and I'm really happy everyone has worked together to make it possible. (even @Proficy for letting Aegoth and Nyderrasethi help me do this). Exciting!
I would like to rave about how awesome it was that @Torinn held a prayer service after our raid. Combining proper roleplaying with combat is what makes this enjoyable for all sides, even for semi-noncoms like me. Also, props to @Tesha for keeping the spirit up at all times!
The Nishnatoba battle really panned out. It was fun. It was different. I've heard lots of good feedback.
Most importantly, I heard very little complaining after it. I think everyone was so awe-stricken by the intensity of it that hardly anyone was even mad (this coming from the losing side). We had tells and shouts of "well fought", "well played" instead of "waaaaahhh, you only won because <insert whatever>." And very little of Mhaldor rubbing it into our faces at the same time.
Also, I know something's horribly wrong with doll rezz in that kind of battle (it needs some kind of CD), but at the same time I think it highlights what I like about things like that and gem existing in the first place. If that fight had just ended after the first rush, it would've been highly disappointing. Instead, it was all over the place. Small groups, big groups, fighting in different rooms. Fighting all across Nish, getting lost as fk. @Ankhareoutef running for his life across the plane.
Rave for @Aegoth: In response to schedule conflicts, I have developed an unseemly habit of trying to multitask life and Achaea. I'm not sure how he knows, but any and every time I try to sneak in and take care of something quietly, he will manifest from the nearby molecules and immediately drag me kicking and screaming into entertaining interaction. All too often, as much as I'd love to, I simply cannot spare the proper attention these interactions deserve, and that is unfair.
But @Aegoth keeps doing it anyway, and that's my rave. Don't you ever change, you silly bastard, one day I'll be free.
Also, while I'm here, Mhaldor is awesome and I'm sorry I haven't been around as much as I'd like. I do better soon, I promise.
I feel like this is a long overdue post, since Jayden has been
Targossian for two RL months now. Finally making the decision to take
the plunge and move was the best decision I've ever made in regards to
Achaea, and these past two months have been the most consistent fun I've had in the 10+ years I've been playing. Jayden was immediately made welcome and settled into her niche
in pretty short order. I legitimately cannot imagine her being anywhere
but the Harbingers, anymore. There's just too many people to thank to
possibly remember everything in a single post, but I'll do my best.
@Laniara:
For spending a great amout of time working with Jayden as she sought to
join Targossas. Everything from theological discussions, to little
pointers in combat, to just having someone to talk to at times - all of
this would have been a far rougher road without you!
@Torinn: For
being a fantastic HL, challenging Jayden to be the best that she can be
in matters of theology. With the war, especially, time has been short
to do much writing and discussion, but it's always a joy!
@Farrah:
Though Jayden and Farrah do not have much personal connection, thank
you for being an active, dedicated CL. You do a lot to help keep the
fire roaring!
@Ada and @Tesha: Ow, my stomach hurts from laughing. Extra points to Tesha for really putting herself out there as a raid leader.
@Talamond,
@Avalea, @Elipise, @Greys, @Aralaya, and others: Making the Harbingers
of Redemption the dream House that I/Jayden hoped it would be! It's a
small group - probably one of the smallest - but truly feels like a cohesive unit with a
purpose, and I could hardly imagine a more satisfying place to be.
Likely the most important one to thank, @Seelie: Though they certainly have grand differences in personality and history, Seelie and Jayden have walked a lot of the same roads in regards to their return to the priesthood. Though Jayden had thought about it (and dismissed it) in the past, it was Seelie's voicing of and elaboration upon the exact same reasoning that was eating at Jayden that ultimately led to her making the move. Jayden looks up to Seelie a lot for a lot of reasons, and likely none of it would've happened without you!
There's just too many little things to think of and thank for all at once, but I think that's enough of my getting emotional for a day. Targossas has been such a joy, and my only regret is that it didn't happen sooner.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

Miss you and your weirdness, gurl, as well as watching you make particular proteges squirm. Looking forward to having you back around now.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
We were legitimately worried about leaving Nish because none of us were sure whether @Saibel was truedead or not. We imagined leaving then Saibel unphasing, "I won losers."
Rave for TeamTarg not getting mad at me last night when I was half asleep and kept getting separated.. and rezzing people like 20-30 rooms away from the conflict.

Sarapis, grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot beat,
Courage to challenge those who are skillful,
And money to balance the difference.
P.S. Gauntlet is a fun relic.
Now it all comes down to the real bad boy on the block in Achaea: ships.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
