dragon bone, burnished to a gleaming finish and glowing with myriad prismatic hues under the changing illumination. It is
banded at each end with delicate gold worked into fine carvings of winged serpents coiling about the scabbard in relaxation,
and the inside is lined with opalescent, shining silk. Each change in the reflection of light upon the bone causes new
ripples of colour along its length, revealing designs and forming patterns that show different scenes from the history of the
Greater Dragons.
