What am I congratulating? That people get together and achieved something they are not very good at and have relatively little experience.
Did Hashan acknowledge that the Novice kills were a mistake? Sure did! Did they apologize? Sure did!
Do they need Anedhel being kind of half in half out semi passive aggressive? Sure don't!
It was obvious he wasn't chest thumping. It was obvious that he regretted that novices died and all he wanted to do was Rave in the Rave thread about something that made him happy. Sorry @Anedhel you don't get to tell him HOW to rave. You ignored all the good things and basically focused on the bad and then came back with "Look I AM glad you had a good time and stuff".
Man this bitching about raid numbers gets really old. Sometimes it just happens. Sometimes people get trigger happy. Sometimes defenders decide it's not worth it. Sometimes the defenders say fuck it and defend anyway because it'll be fun knowing fully well they'll probably lose. It happens on EVERY side and for the most part we all try to keep it fair but shit happens.
It's fun to win but keep in mind that it should be fun for the other team too, otherwise you'll end up with no one to play with.
(Not referring to this specific situation) - I don't understand the numbers argument half the time. Why does every fight always get numbers looked at first, rather than capability of the groups? >.> 3 highly proficient people could pretty easily take down 6+ barely midtier people. Hell, there's the log Dunn posted of him and Jhui like 2v12ing Eleusis. Sure, it's Jhui. But the point stands.

This is true, but in the circumstance described it wasn't highly proficient people vs midbies. Sometimes people seem to have odd perceptions of who is and is not great at combat. Krizal and Chris are both quite good at group combat. Aralaya is not a frequent fighter. The raid was clearly imbalanced, not simply in terms of numbers.
Buuuuut 4 hours earlier I finally had a Targ crew and we hadn't detonated a tank for over three weeks. Hashan wasn't super combat heavy at the time and I was worried they wouldn't respond at all (and Ashtan and Mhaldor definitely wouldn't have at the time so Hashan was our only chance). @Chris, @Regi, and @Eguzki were champs and led a defense anyway!
So we got a tank detonated in Hashan low hours, they got one in our low hours. No reason for anyone to be mad!

I did say that I wasn't referring to this one, moreso curious that 'numbers' never fails to come up regardless, in situations like this. When at least half the time, it's not really necessary. Looking at logs, the earlier one Targ did seemed more balanced (though still lopsided) for sure.

Rave for @Regi, @Aesgar, @Kasa, @Krizal, for helping me learn combat. It had been so so so fun. Like... I literately look forward to Targossas raiding and raiding back now. Even though I still suck and I die a lot. Thank you for teaching me. You guys are so patient.
@Farrah, I've never actually interacted with you outside of raids but thank you; you seem like a wonderfully chill person. This is why I feel that raid raves should stay ic and not enter the forum rp. >.>
I have the bad habit of being off plane with at least a couple members of the Hashani army like 90% of the time. So when raids occur we're like... "uhhhhh should we rush back (10-15 min anyway) or just continue being off plane". Otherwise we could have brought more people to that targ raid/hashani defense earlier.
Commission List: Aesi, Kenway, Shimi, Kythra, Trey, Sholen .... 5/5 CLOSED I will not draw them in the order that they are requested... rather in the order that I get inspiration/artist block.
@Anedhel To be fair with them killing me, I am enemied to Hashan and have defended the city nearly every time we are attacked and I am in the realms, so I believe I can be considered an active defender. Hashan had every right to attack me when I ran into that room after help was asked for. There is no point in complaining about it, it's over with. Sure they raided at a bad time, sure I lost like, 10% experience which doesn't take that much to get at my level, it's done with it doesn't matter, and it doesn't help the situation to just bring it up over and over again on the forums

Can we just give targ their own forums and get back to raves please? Small rave some of the newer class of Ashtani have been super nice and it's been helping my motivation
Hashan won a CTF and people are ranting about it? Finally, you have arrived.
They won an event after the admin skewed it in their favor, failed to fix bugs or mitigate for said bugs, and used the bugs as a point deficit against the other cities. Hashan didn't win anything, they were handed a trophy.

This isn't very ravey...
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.

It IS true though... the initial quests were super ridiculously buggy. To reward over bugs is sketchy at best. Past is past though, but let's not cover up the facts!
edit for @Dunn post: it was -extremely- frustrating to see like... 3-4 of us down in UW when FACTIONWHO showed about 20 people, so yea, you are absolutely right on that account. Hashan had -EVERYONE- down there all the fucking time. That being said, I loathe bugs. Can't generally be helped, but in my experience (coming from another IRE) they usually tried to give concessions for those things.

I think you're pretty in the wrong here. Hashan put forth the most consistent and sizeable effort through the entire event. I think blaming the admin is a ridiculous cop out when we (Ashtan) had people on CWHO who are very established players not participating in any capacity. Hashan, on the other hand, appeared to mobilize their citizenry and were rewarded for it.
Also, who the fuck are you to speak on this event? I didn't see you down in UW once that I can recall for more than a death. You just look salty as shit.

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
