Been bashing a lot with one of our Predicants trying to help her reach her goals, but I'v only helped a small fraction with what she's accomplished on her own:

She is 18 years old, having been born on the 16th of Chronos, 678 years after the fall of the

That said, all my accomplishments are now entirely worthless and I should probably just quit Achaea forever.

Pretty much everybody I have interacted with recently has been great fun, except @Saeva (only moderate fun). If you think this post is about you, it probably is.
LIQUID RIFT IS HERE! Would be perfect if it allowed for more health sips, I feel like the rest are fine... add like 3000 more health sips, please please please.
I was getting tired anyway, but had built up a degree of standing which all collapsed in one unpleasant chain-reaction. Realising that I was feeling affected personally, and also having moved to a new job and country, I just decided that enough was enough. I don't know exactly why I blew the cobwebs off mudlet last month, but I did.
Immediately, one thing is clear, Eleusis has come through the renaissance much stronger, both in terms of a coherent community, and in roleplaying. Perhaps it is because I've been actively seeking out interaction, or because the playerbase changed. The influx of refugees from Mhaldor is, I think, largely but not solely responsible for this. @Alrena was extremely helpful with the reintegration, others less so. Semi-tangentially, I remembered how great Anatral's family is.
Mechanically, hunting is nearly interesting again. Battlerage is fantastic.
@Artemis is just amazing. Despite being incredibly busy in the machinery, she has managed to kick the order up the arse and is a large reason I logged in that second time, then the third. My expectations were that I would log in, maybe hunt a bit, maybe hang around with some old comrades, gossip about the latest news and then log out again for another year.
(Order): Artemis says, "Oneawha!"
Since then the little touches she has provided have been wonderful. From taking over Muria (which has more significance than she knows) to incredibly well timed interventions when Anatral is teaching, it is actually a joy to spend six hours doing mundane tasks.
My roleplaying is rusty, and most of Anatral's old friends are dormant. Some incredibly generous and understanding new ones have evolved. @Ellowyne finally asked the damn question last night so I got to roleplay my dormancy properly. @Nadria, @Jeslyn, @Johlo and many others are delights. Many others have forced me to pay very close attention to what I'm doing and actually work on building and maintaining relationships, and improving my innate attitude to spontaneous interactions. In the past I was thinking, "I have better things to be doing", now I'm thinking "screw the paperwork, this is what I'm here for." By imposing myself on unnatural settings for the character, I had built up unreasonable resentments of people. Playing to his strengths and focusing on what makes him interesting for other people to interact with has been much more rewarding. If I've been disappointing in an interaction, apologies - I'm working on it!
Next time you start feeling like Achaea is another job, demoralising, troubling you personally or worst of all boring, I highly recommend taking a break.
@Anatral aww, you have been a blast to get to know as well. Though you are only allowed that one break, haha no more leaving! I've had lots of involuntary dormant times myself, but I always keep coming back. Achaea is just something worth coming back to.
@Lorielan. You always make me glad we fought for you as Matron. Best decision ever. I also love the relationship Kenway has with you and I love th e hell out of our talks. Even when I end up looking like a crystaline porcupine.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
@Tecton and @Sarapis for making liquid rift. Haven't gotten this excited for a long time cause it salvaged a huge mistake I made long ago.
I bought 50 obfuscated crystal vials from the Shop of Wonders to never again need fills. Then, Alchemists and Forestals gave their fills to tradeskills, and I was feeling dumber. Then, I found out that Penwize had accomplished more with 25 obfuscated vials than I did with 50. He not only kept his fills with 25, he managed to be full on venoms too. And I officially felt like a colossal moron, until now.
Now that liquid rift is here, with Greater Rift, I can set up a mechanism of reflexes by which I can keep probably all of Cyrene and Targossas good on fills... at the same time. You just dump the full vial in the rift, and instantly put 1 of what you want back in the obfuscated vial. Several hours later, it's full. So, what was largely a waste of 150 crowns has been made into something pretty darn awesome. I can probably keep people good on venoms, too. The only thing I need to worry about is not putting the shopkeeps out of business, but that's not the worst problem I could imagine.
Don't forget that 150 crowns is an absolutely colossal investment of time and/or money, so it isn't entirely unreasonable for him to be able to dictate flow based on that.
@Daeir : I wouldn't really be dictating flow, just giving free fills when I have the stuff to do so in the rift.
I doubt this update was intended to allow one
person to be able to supply half the game's worth of curatives. Will
probably be fixed if it's abused?
@Valkyn : I don't think it was created with that intention, but it does
seem to be a nifty side effect which I am not going to be complaining
about. And, I hope my plan doesn't count as abuse because I am not out to hurt anybody, quite the opposite.
This last week has been one of the most productive and happy weeks I've had on Achaea and in Targossas.
My shopkeeping has become pretty successful. Especially in the case of so many new Targossian Dragons on the rise, I've barely been able to keep up with the demand.
I'm wearing new "hats" in my organizations and I'm really happy to be working with really intelligent and awesome people. I have a lot of projects I'm working on and being apart of the team, staying busy, and being useful keeps me really happy.
I'm 60% of the way to Dragon now, or so my counter says and it's just getting easier and easier.
I raided for the first time in real life months last night, got my first holocaust bomb kill. (four in one go, woot) and that led to an auto promotion in the army. I'm still just a scrub, but damn that's motivating and exciting.
Speaking of scrubs. Thank you @Aurora@Deucalion for kicking us all in the butt and knowing that we could and should be doing better. I haven't seen so many people in Targossas running around like crazy, working together, to make the place better. Really competent and efficient leaders are emerging, and I'm really looking forward to the future. Yay.
After a long slump of not really playing or enjoying myself, I played today and actually very much enjoyed myself. In the many years I've played Achaea has always been like a cycle between enjoying it and not enjoying it and I'm glad to see it finally going back to the upswing for me. So that's a rave.

But come back.
Every interaction I've had with you so far has been absolutely outstanding. I enjoy the RP, specifically with anything regarding Lady Artemis, or Her realm...and you have that down pat. I hope we get to interact more.

wait.
@Aesi for gifting me with room credits! Thank you!
And Amarisse for the brief but enjoyable interaction amid the flurry of letters and approved recipes. What a productive day!
