Huge surprise from two of some of my closest friends, I'm absolutely floored.
You make little pile of a kinkajou tooth, claw, and paw, place some bait on top of it, and then wave the kinkajou tail about until a kinkajou appears. You quickly collar it and have a new pet!
Auburn fur covers the long, lean body of this small, arboreal mammal. Two dark ears stick out from the sides of his round face, and his black eyes look about curiously. The kinkajou's feet are well-suited for climbing, as is the long, prehensile tail that extends from his hindquarters.
I think that's more so people don't dual wield tower shields or whatever best defensive shield they have while prone to mitigate as much damage as possible since they can't actually attack while prone.

It only took like..5 years for them to fix this after people started abusing it?
The % chance remains the same yes, but the cutting/blunt defences would stack when wielding multiple shields, including SoA's. So for classes that can only wield shields approximately equal to or worse than SoA's, if you have the money, may as well!
The % chance to block damage remains the same, that is. For clarification.
Also, a lot of finisher type abilities, like bbt, disembowel, and the previous version of axekick, were exempt from a SoA's chance to completely absorb the attack, so even with a single shield, you're generally not going to get to roll the dice with the absorption effect while prone.
So. I tagged along with a few others from my house on a lil hunt. Nothing unusual, some mild chit chat in-between rooms. All of a sudden, The Ashtani appeared. O_O
Thank you for giving me such a fond farewell. It wasn't easy to leave, and I changed my mind about five dozen times just in the farewell party alone. I will miss each and every one of you in different ways.
I love the pendant that was given to me. @Trilliana did a wonderful job designing it and I know I'll treasure it always.
@Ainia sent me a sweet letter. It was almost as sweet as her letter where she announced that she was going to kill me, after telling me how much she cared. It also had some brownies filled with cookie dough, yum yum.
@Valnurana has been such an amazing patroness and I feel honoured to have worked with her when I was in the house. The way that you take care of the organizations that you've patroned of is nothing short of amazing.
To Cyrene,
You have all made me feel so welcome. I'm really excited for this new page in the life of Lucine and to see where it leads her. I could list names, but trust me when I say that between the Sylvans and Cyrene, the amount of names would probably cause the forums to crash. (I know it doesn't work that way, but my fingers would also get tired.)
I did want to shout out to @Scarlatti: Thank you for the favour and especially the kind words, it made me smile really big.
Also, after spending the day in the post office sending letters to a few people, I noticed the cute humgii: A blue-grey feather dangles from the corner of a postal humgii's mouth as it gazes about with wide, innocent eyes. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
I've been having a really fantastic time playing with Mhaldor lately.
Big shout out to @Xinna, a stalwart partner in crime in many activities. Not only is she really talented (not only in combat but many other fields), but she also never says no - totally willing to go head-to-head with anyone in the game, even with bad odds. Great attitude and contagious enthusiasm. Very glad she's in Mhaldor now where she belongs.
So glad to have @Mathonwy and @Herenicus to plot and chat with - they're both really interesting characters and have livened Mhaldor significantly since their arrival or return. Looking forward to much greater things to come. In this same category I'm so happy to have @Nocroth back (even if not to the degree I'd like yet). Great cultural stuff is on the horizon...
@Jurixe and @Kelandra have been great IC spiritual mentors / teachers. I especially am grateful for an excellent set of Sartai tasks from Kelandra which have really deepened my character and challenged my player. Lot of fun, look forward to continuing to work on it all (and maybe making it into the Order someday...)
@Herose, @Suladan, @Isaiah, @Cresil, @Eloru, @Zamora for being the fantastic backbone of the Naga right now - you guys are excellent and I've enjoyed watching you rise through the ranks and start making really awesome contributions, be it in shop theft, assassinations, LoS skirmishes where the enemy is like "wtf just happened" (lololol), espionage, whatever. Special kudos to @Mycen and @Saibel for their leadership over the years, their names have come to be near-synonymous with Naga for me (needless to say @Jurixe is first and foremost in this category for me too).
@Aegoth@Xer@Hasar@Tirac@Crixos so fun to do group combat with, these guys are really impressive and I learn a lot going over logs where they were in the fight. Also they're very patient, never negative or demeaning, great can-do attitudes there too.
@Zii@Ruth@Orzaansyn are folks I haven't had a chance to interact with extensively yet but I've enjoyed what chances to chat we have had and look forward to more in the future!
Plenty of people need to come back or be more active, namely @Taraza@Kafziel@Alcinae@Kaevan pleaseeeeee. Your characters are awesome and I love having you around.
Last but obviously not least, the big guy @Sartan who still (as I told Eloru after he spoke on HT) scares the crap out of me when he speaks, let alone whispers creepy things directly to me. Really reminds me that we serve some brutally violent whackjob demon god. Also some of the tasks he's given me are fantastic, like giving these two Hashani lowbies (one of them was named Trout, I think, haha?) a tour of Mhaldor. I was reading their minds and when they tried to flee after Regents told them they'd get in trouble, Sartan told me to kill them haha. They freaked out and tried to run for it and we all had a great experience overall.
Also it's been cool chatting with a number of enemies / neutrals, including Aerek, Kei (now part of the M-train too, choo choo), Alrena, Iakimen, Daitya, and many others that don't come to mind right now.
Thank you all for making things fun right now. Looking forward to more good times to come n the near future!
Thanks @Tecton for putting city, clan and house help files into a separate window in the HTML5 client. Makes it so much easier to flip back and forth, without scrolling.

I've been trying to think of a way to make this happen in Mudlet. It's the only HTML5 feature I'm missing.
In other news, I apparently have started instinctually putting apostrophes at the front of things I type.
Rave for @Havyn , @Tashlur , @Qara, @Kaui , @Aeto and and any other interns/aides I have. You guys rock. Rave for insane patience with me as I change my mind too much and mess up.Without you guy's help... I would go crazy from the work load and not knowing how to do certain things. You guys work amazingly hard and I thank you for that. I dont know where I would be without you.

An auburn kinkajou looks relatively helpless.

ANNOUNCE NEWS #4167
... Only one shield may be wielded at a time.In anticipation of the changes to weaponry/Weaponry/knight skills? Giddy, me.

You know how to make a woman happy.
I can attest to this for @Trey. My first rapier when I switched to Bard was a 130/160/210.
Those damage Bard days

Some people even have 2 SoAs for this.

Thank you. You made awesome what has been a vastly disappointing day.
@Hexan I think I liked it better when the post just ended with...and then...the Ashtani ppeared!

Shout out to @Aurora for a brief, but decent interaction after I tried to break into her meeting.

Also my main man @Vicious, can't believe I didn't list him initially. What a boss. @Proficy also brings the lolz.
You made me freak out, but I still love You, keep being awesome!
