All I wanted to do was celebrate Logosmas a little differently for Mhaldor this year, and I have all the following to thank for making it happen:
@Sartan: Thank you so much for being so supportive and making just about everything I wanted to happen happen - the tree, digging out the quartet, the artwork, surprise drinks, the ambience at the ball, Sylcine and Norbert attending - it was amazing, and it wouldn't have been the same without your help. Sorry if I bombarded your email :X Thank you for making it one to remember!
@My coordinators and speakers: Thank you all for making sure that events continued to run smoothly even though I couldn't be around for the majority of them! You took a load off me and all of the speakers gave really good short sermons. Some of you went above and beyond in getting people involved, and that's always great to see.
@Designers (artwork, food etc): Thank you for your creativity! Now you'll get to see your permanent handiwork as a part of Mhaldor!
@Council: Thank you to those of you who gave their support and encouragement to me, and got their Houses to participate. Participation is always the most difficult thing when it comes to events like these, and seeing a leader actively support it is great.
@Ball: Oh my god, too many. @Hasar and @Xer for the ridiculous dance/banter, @Alcinae for helping with so many bits and pieces, @Aepas for actually knowing how to dance a quadrille, @Heshran for being a great last minute server, @everyone who showed up and generally had fun. This was even more entertaining than the Gala was, for me, because it was just us and everyone could relax a bit more. It was really fun watching everyone just loosen up a bit and the atmosphere was amazing. I couldn't stop laughing at places and just had a big smile on my face the whole time. I hope it was as fun for everyone else as it was for me.
Running events is difficult, goodness knows I've had my share of complaints at people when I'm overworked, but this is what makes it all worth it in the end - people enjoying themselves. I hope you all had a great celebration, and merry Christmas to you!

Designed to cascade from neckline to decolletage, this necklace is exquisite in its detail. Also raves to everyone who has been both ICly and OOCly supportive of Mel (and me) through a very difficult time. It's been extremely up and down, especially with the holidays so close. It is very literally the awesome people I interact with (directly or indirectly) who keep me around and logging in, period, at this point. Thank you, truly.
I'd also like to rave two certain people, who shall remain unnamed, who have been giving Melodie doubts about her sanity, lately. I haven't had the hairs on the back of my neck raised in quite a while, and it has been an interesting and very different turn of events for a morose, fallen priestess. Even if it was done out of boredom rather than trying to actually -do- anything, it's a wonderful distraction for me, and a complex, intricate issue for Mel. Very fun.
