Oh yeah, forgot to rave.
You surprise me, @Nocroth. You're not too rusty after all.
That I walked directly into death at least three times in 30 minutes says otherwise!
To fulfill my rave obligation: a little priestly roleplay with @Kafziel and @Aegoth. Good times, even with my terrible typos. For me, anyway.
Wasn't that bad for your first time back really! Sure, you got radianced, but the rest of the deaths were mostly because you were our primary target due to exterminations. Was good fun all around though!
@Carmell The vows would have been better if I had more than like 15 minutes to think up a whole ceremony, haha. I'm glad it wasn't terrible, at the very least!

@Tesha they seemed so good for the two people involved. I would have never thought of that. The last wedding I performed was a crossbow wedding and well that one got quite a few laughs.
lol not really much of a fight. Tbh, I was expecting Kinilan to have a bigger crew or I would've told some people not to come. Thanks to @Jozlyn for being out and in perfect position to let him know we were there though.
I'm so rusty that it hurts. I actually ran into the shoals. wtf. Also, I only have some hastily written aliases for turning, rowing, setting sails, and stopping. Everything else done by hand.

For future reference my largest crew size to date was 6 plus me (Not that I wouldn't take more if I had them on hand.) Normal is 2-3 plus me with the occasional solo trip. 3+ only happens when I'm mixing inexperienced people in for training. And before this turns into some crap about how one side brought way more than they should, that isn't the point. Jonathin/Mosr just made a mistake in guessing how deep we roll.
And yes I gtfo when Nemu died and Hirst got away safe. Chasing down a ship is part of the game and who am I to deny someone the fun of that? Seriously. And AND! I didn't wavecall away. Fucking wavecall,
Edit: I guess I should say my largest crew where we sunk a ship was 6 plus me. There may have been trips where we saw nothing or a target got away and I had a larger crew. I just only keep records of boardings/sinkings.

Good thing, some of the things I do still work, but chasing a ship is one of those rusty things.

@Mhaldor. Can I do that? Can I just rave the whole city of @Mhaldor?
No, you have to call out every citizen individually, including dormant ones, and that one guy you don't really like but would feel awkward leaving out so you just give him some stupid rave like "You really ... stand around ... well." Abbreviation avoids proper Suffering.
After 110 IC years, almost 4 real (what the what?!) I finally managed to sink 100 ships! Too many people to thank without this turning into one of THOSE threads. So thank you everyone that ever played crew to my captain or gave me the support to do what I enjoy doing, playing a pirate in Achaea. Special mention goes out to Harmonia captain of the (un)lucky 100th!
So I get to use Citadelform now, right Tecton? Turn into a whale, eat some krill...
@Kinilan Why didn't that show up as a sinking on deathsight?
We saw:
The flickering candle of Harmonia's life has been snuffed by the rising of the wine-dark sea as it also received her ship's twisted wreckage. Distressing images from the Eusian Ocean override your senses as they depict the narrow escape from death at sea of the crew of Libertine.
Ship deathsight is buggy (like a lot of things with ships). Proper credit isn't always given. I suspect it's tied to whatever did the last bit of damage so if leaking or fire ticks in the seemingly random time it takes a ship to go from sinking warning to sunk then deathsight shows the generic sinking message. There is always a little celebration on PT when we get credit. it's like a little extra prize.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
Methinks our @Xer is using finals as an excuse.
Does that work?
