well, that mini-event was fun while it lasted, hunting a crazed denizen jester that stabbed random tavern locals and attempted to murder people that volunteered to help him with performing.
Just a pity he ran so fast and there was no clear indication of how to stop him, as trying to kill him didn't work
Just ward your lanes and win pre-50m he shouldn't be a problem.
we weren't fighting Shaco, man )

I feel mildly horrible, but glad that Atalkez seems to be having fun at least. Hope Ashtan works out for you!
Yeah, right around 25-30 or so.
I lost 6 levels already.
It's all good, mildly annoying considering all I did was quit the city and was enemied to the city and both Orders before even doing anything against Targossas.
No big deal, keep moving forward

When Riley quit Mhaldor, he actually had a conversation with Sartan, saying he was leaving. Sartan basically told him to run, people chased him, maybe half a dozen deaths and -that- was seen as overdoing it a bit. Riley is a good deal older and has more accredited to him during his time in Mhaldor. When we helped defend him in Cyrene, there was a bit of a raid later due to it, but nothing terrible.
I don't see how 25-30 deaths is at all okay for a relatively young and minor character leaving. Certainly some deaths, maybe a scolding post from his mentor, etc. But this seems to be too much. :-/
Glad to hear you're taking things in stride though @Atalkez. Afraid I'll have to punch you in the face if I see you IC, but don't let things get you too down!
Edit: To stay on topic, rave to @Daeir for such a horribly depressing but extremely thoughtful exchange.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
@Beya. That is all, seriously, the moment that crazy jester comes around you know something fun is going to happen

@varele for being a class act ooc even though ic he wants to kill me over and over and over. @aepas for teaching me the technique that got me my first kill on varele! Also the hate rp is fun! Though..when you die to me, it's generally not the best time to be telling me I'm weak. Just saying.:P enjoyed running around like a maniac the last time you decided to duel/jump me. That took forever. And my cure system broke. Else I might not have lost. Heh. @carmain for helping me fix my limb guarding. And for giving me combat tips. @fen for being the first hashani serpent in years(ig) that could actually lock me! Props dude!
What happened to Atalkez isn't excusable and the perpetrators should indeed be shamed and held responsible for their sheer lack of responsibility in authority when it comes to the consideration of others playing this game.
It's happened enough now for us all to be aware that just murdering someone in excess of a dozen times for a decision to move to a different playing environment is totally abhorrent.
You disappoint. Where is my damn pitchfork!
Oh hey this is Raves! I logged in earlier and spoke to people
My rave is people failing to see the link between swearing 'If I leave, let my life be forfeit,' and being killed a bunch of times for turning coat. Super entertaining
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Yah. Expecting restraint from the Achaea playerbase is a winning bet
You do realize that kind of talk is why we can't have nice things, right?
-shrug- I don't know about other people but I do try to be a decent person. Just because others forget themselves doesn't give you a license to act as irresponsibly as them.
Eh. I come from a place where a game's a game, and you do your best to stick to the world you're trying to create. This means that no matter how tired, cranky, unwilling, or otherwise bitchy I am about having to help when someone asks IC, I help. It also means that no matter how much I like someone OOC, I go after 'em IC if I'm told to.
I like to think that, while he was in Targ, Atalkez got the best I had to offer (and he sure called on me from time to time!). Now that he's left in the worst possible way, he'll get the worst of me! It's just the way it goes.

Life denotes singularity.
Lives, is plural.
Yay education.
@Kyrra Don't worry about it babe, there still is something to be said about being the bigger man.

To play in any city in the game you must swear an Oath of loyalty under pain of death. Such is the consequence of switching allegiances in Achaea. However, as it is a necessity imposed upon players for access to these basic, pinnacle organisations, we should treat the situation with OOC care and consideration when such an Oath is broken. A death or two, or even five might be warranted. Cave camping and murder in range of the 20s and 30s in the span of less than a real life day is not warranted or even slightly reasonable.
It's our responsibility as players in a multiplayer interactive game to BE responsible and to hold others accountable if they break those responsibilities. If not, we have to bring mechanics like cause and divine rule back into play and even implement them as prevalent guides in cities, which takes the main selling point of Achaea completely out of the game.
Rule #1 - Don't be a dick.
This discussion should have been over at the start when the culprits apologised. That they're being defended at all is an indication of a bitter, sour attitude that needs to be ridiculed and removed.

I may not be able to kill Targossians right now, but traitors can suffice.

But waiting outside the cave for them to pop isn't RP of any kind. It's just sheer dickhead moves. At least in my opinion.
Also, deleting off Skype for IC RP?
Yeah you figure that one out.
Anyway, I don't mind I came for the pvp, I stay for the RP. It's a game, doesn't affect me or my mood IRL!
