Props go to @Sherazad for coordinating some really interesting debate questions, and the Mhaldorians who gamely stepped up, whether or not debate is their thing. The questions were all very interesting, even if not entirely debated to their full potential, but there are two people in particular who I thought did very well and hope to see more of. Definitely a worthy activity that not many have the patience for to coordinate.

Raves also to the people who have been stepping up and running events for me. It's nice to see what people can do when they decide to take charge, and some really nice stuff has come out of it. It's also nice not to have to take the brunt of an entire event, for once, especially as I haven't been around much.

I love the treeeee.

Oh hey, forums and a rave topic?  Allow me to make my silly little mark on them both!  

So, this isn't anything that specifically happened in the game or that has a particular log, and I'm sure it's been said before, but I figure it's the best place to say....you're all awesome.  That's my rave: the time I spent years and years ago playing Achaea, and now coming back to it, it's hard to complain about a game where you can look at events that have happened while you were away for one reason or another and go "Man, I wish I'd been there for that!"  Mostly I wish I'd gotten to interact with some of the more interesting characters I can only read and hear stories from other old bums about now, like Indrani.

Anyway, I'm not going to let this devolve into some nostalgic trip down memory lane -- I've done that enough lately.  I'll just say that to all the players, you're what makes this game great, no matter what vitriol people spew about it and huff up a storm.  There's bad people, yeah, but there's bad people in every business.  So to all the old people I knew: Naiad, old Gaia, old Eris, Mysti, Mistie, Callanthe, Shakti, Sog's dropbear, Sog, Mandrake, Istavan, Estach, Rocktamer, Azura, Tryphena, the person I cannot bloody remember the name of but she started some of the first player-made clothing, Segami, Tay, Navi, Mistral, pretty much everyone in the Achaean Elders clan....y'all made the game awesome for years, and I miss you more than you can ever know now.  Even the old jerks like Dalamar, Grok, Midnight, Gijan, Khejian...all those people who just wanted to kill me You guys made my heart race more than a few times!  And your memories are gonna make me join a mark just so I can be freely jumped every now and again, oi.  Achaea's not Achaea without Cooper walking all the way through Ashtan JUST to try and Cleave you.

And to the new friends (of various levels and some I've met on alts): Verily, Sybilla, Lianca, Taraus, Jinsun, Jozlyn, Melodie, new Ourania, Aelyn, Glaci, Yae, Hirst, Dunn, Kyrra, and more....here's to new friends and fun in the years to come

Yeah, I see you there, Cooper, Xenomorph, Raes, Anaidiana, all names I recognize!  I will bother you all soon enough.  Insert evil laughter here.

That's my piece.  I wanted to rave about the real fun I see in the game...the people you play it with.  In the end, that's all that matters, and I'm both happy and proud to share my time with you.  I missed you guys

I got enemied to Hashan not 2 months after joining mhaldor. And I wasnt even commanded to go there. @balkin just showed me some love so, I couldn't go down without a fight. Had to go find him in Hashan. Then @fen and @vasriia piled on. It was fun. Even if my head is sitting at crossroads. It was worth it.

Rave @nizaris for the most creative assignment to learn about evil and deal with my ic problems ever. Write a poem. Mhaldor got artistic all of the sudden.

Rave @orzaansyn for also teaching me a lot about evil and directing me to an awesome book.
