Uh we showed up to kill all of you people. You can't just assume that anyone is there to help anyone else, especially when people are killed indiscriminately (as was the case at Vents TWO MONTHS AGO). No one from Targossas accused us of helping Mhaldor. This is less clear cut because only Mhaldorians died, but I doubt Santar was there to help Ashtan.

Subj: Targets and tunnel vision
A brand new feature has just been implemented in Achaea, giving
adventurers the opportunity to cut down on some of unnecessary messages
that they may see in combat situations and improve general usability
across many systems. We help this will make learning combat a little
easier, and increase the enjoyability of these situations immensely.
Firstly - we've made changes to the way SETTARGET works, it will now be a
streamlined single command SETTARGET <thing>, this will set your
target to that particular thing. From here you can access it via the
in-game alias system as &tar or &target.
Secondly - We've modified just about every combat command to not require
a target to be specified, it will just work off whatever you have
targeted with SETTARGET. No need to enter KICK PIXIE every time, just
SETTARGET PIXIE then enter "KICK" - naturally, it'll still take a target
name if you want to, so no need to worry about changing everything.
Thirdly - A new ability in Vision has been added - TUNNELVISION! This
allows you to "filter out" many of the more frequent messages you may
see in group situations - defences coming up and down, eating, sipping,
smoking etc. We've made this configurable, so you can specify what you
want and don't want to see. This wouldn't really be effective if this
blocked messages from the person you're attacking, so you'll always see
all messages from your target (set with SETTARGET).
We've had to retrofit pretty much every single ability to add this
functionality, so there is a chance that something may not be working
100% correctly. If you encounter anything odd, please file a BUG with as
much information as possible, and we'll get it sorted out ASAP!

And yet Anedhel denies that they came out to "help Ashtan" sure seems odd to me that any time Hirst starts to die Daeir Anedhel and Santar sure show up to kill us.
Not to Mention Ashtan did much the same for them in the Vents!

I've spent a couple of hours today rewriting large sections of my offensive system so it's not a slowly cobbled together and disorganised mess. Excited to get home, transfer it from Notepad++ to Mudlet, fix syntax errors and then start trying things out. I even managed to add in a few things that I've been putting off for a while but turned out to be really simple with the new code.
This orb looks much like a very large pearl, approximately four inches across, with a deep blue hue. It is perfectly round and smooth; beyond that, no detail is evident. It weighs 8 ounce(s). It bears the distinctive mark of Zulah. The orb will allow you to move another 1 rooms.

Your Transoceanic Orb disappears with a pop. Lacking the ability to fly over the vast ocean, you quickly plummet to the surface, slamming into it with such force as to kill you instantly. You have been slain by misadventure.
