Someone stole 500k gold from me while we were storming tide monsters. Pretty sure I know who it was, and I'm livid, so I QQ'd. I try not to play while angry. But, if anyone finds out who did it, I'd like at least half of it back. I understand thieves are gunna thief, but no one can pay attention in that spam.
My favorite part was Ahmet going in with us and trying to take control, and then nearly ruining the entire thing by spawning tide shit on me. Thank God I bought a lyre a few days ago.
First, I wasn't trying to take control. I was trying to tell you where -not- to unphase like an idiot (and you decided to do it anyway). Second, I didn't spawn tide shit on you, they were roaming the fortress. Please pay attention to the facts, instead of getting all salty at the daydream you live in.

I knew exactly where to unphase, and did it exactly where I intended to. The creatures were roaming, but those ones were really easy. The one that emerged from the fog (not walked in, like the wandering ones) after you came in as a soul is what killed me.

For what is worth, I dimly remember someone asking who had dropped a hefty amount of gold amidst everything else going on.
As for the rest, I am sure that if you all had actually died something else to progress the event would have happened.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
Like steel on stone, the preternatural tones of Parni deSangre thunder throughout Creation, "Let us be done."
The last Scion of Nicator steps out upon the shadow-forged bridge, the ephemeral mass bearing his weight without objection.
The mad Emperor begins his resolute crossing. The abyss yawns beneath, and he pays it no mind.
Like steel on stone, the preternatural tones of Parni deSangre thunder throughout Creation, "And so does end this chapter of the Tsol'teth."
The Staff of Nicator begins to glow within the avenger's grey-skinned hand as he reaches the halfway mark. Power tightly leashed, but ready to be called forth.
A lone figure steps out onto the far end of the bridge. Tall, it towers over Seleucar's Doom by near two feet. Robed in liquid shadow and wreathed in a palpable aura of dread, the single Tsol'teth's presence fills the immense cavern with an icy, bone-deep chill. With a slow, deliberate motion, the sentinel shakes its head in denial.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "Hubris is the principle delusion of our line. You shall not pass, Falaq-maal."
Ama-maalier extends a hand, a sword near half as tall as herself coalescing in her fist, the point levelled at the oncoming deSangre.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "I grant you leave. I shall not do so twice."
Parni deSangre's lips draw back, an ugly snarl contorting his regally cruel features. The Staff of Nicator blazes, its unleashed fury howling forth to strike down the Tsol'teth that dares to bar his path.
The Dark Hate neither flinches nor falters. Her free hand rises, palm burning with an ominous grey light. Then, with a single, decisive motion, she closes her fist and the death bearing down upon her is snuffed in an instant. The impossible act leaves no trace of light to mark its passage.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "This is my domain. You cannot win here."
Though clearly shaken by the display, Parni deSangre takes not a single step back in the face of his foe. His hands tighten upon the Staff, and the runes carved along its length begin to glow once more. A storm builds before him, spreading from wall to wall of the cavern. With a thrust of the greatest foci, he sends it roaring down the bridge, a towering, churning column of searing destruction.
The implacable guardian steps through the cataclysm, smoke rising from her robes, yet otherwise unscathed by the power that has levelled empires.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "So be it."
The towering Tsol'teth blurs across the intervening gap, seeming almost to fly down the bridge. Parni deSangre matches her charge with his own, the two meeting in a titanic clash. Shadow-forged blade meets holy staff, but it is not the Fulcrum that falls back.
The last deSangre gives ground. His previously inexorable approach becoming a stumbling retreat, confidence draining away as the Dark Hate rains blows upon him in a feverish frenzy. The Emperor's enchanted black armour turns aside a glancing blow that would have reduced a lesser fighter to paste, his helm saving him from a second that should have split his skull. Blackened mail parts along his ribs as he frantically twists away from a thrust that should have bisected him.
Like steel on stone, the preternatural tones of Parni deSangre thunder throughout Creation, "Enough!"
Shadows rise at the Emperor's command, their claw-like hands reaching for Ama-maalier. Yet even as their grasping fingers threaten to close about her throat they melt away, spared not even a cursory glance by the oncoming paragon of her race.
The staff blazes, a bar of coruscating liquid light, but the Dark Hate's reach is too great. She keeps the deSangre at bay with dispassionate ease, corralling him ever backward along the path. Sparks explode from sword meeting divine-blessed wood, neither fighter seeming phased by the impossible level of strength being brought to bear.
As the combatants reach the middle of the bridge, Parni slashes a hand in a decisive motion at his opponent. A torrent of grey light leaps forth to engulf her, but the Tsol'teth tears through the Aeonic disruption without even slowing, the gambit thwarted. Her blade lashes out, and the Staff of Nicator tumbles away into the darkness beneath, the dismembered hand of its bearer falling to the bridge upon which the battle raged.
For a moment, neither fighter moves. One transfixed with rising disbelief at the ruin of his vengeance, the other balanced perfectly at the culmination of her swing.
Like steel on stone, the preternatural tones of Parni deSangre thunder throughout Creation, "How?"
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "You are our past, Falaq-maal."
Pausing only long enough to retrieve the grisly trophy of her victory, Ama-maalier casts a dismissive eye across the invading force. Then she turns on her heel and disappears into the darkness at the far end of the bridge from whence she came.
Before she passes through the doors, with an almost negligent motion, the Dark Hate backhands the vanquished deSangre with bone-shattering force, sending him toppling from the bridge. The Doom of Seleucar falls.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "And I am our future."
Pretty sure that was the whole fight, apologies if I missed anything while doing my own fighting and stone touching.

As for the rest, I am sure that if you all had actually died something else to progress the event would have happened. Stuck in quote on mobile. But if this is the case, awesome, I'll offer a finder's fee for the return.
So does that mean for the weekend warriors we'll still have future events and fighting to look forward to? Was kind of sad this event wasn't at serenade like most other planned events, as I worked a morning shift.
There will always be more to look forward to, I think this one was just aimed at the people who can't attend serenade stuff. Gotta spread the love around a bit!
A solemn hush descends upon Anzari-tarin. Even the howling of the forsaken in the wastes suddenly tapers off.
In a chamber deep within the inner sanctum of the Meld, a circle composed of the five leaders of the Tsol'teth race finally cease the chant they have maintained for the last seven days. In the centre kneels a gaunt figure, frail beyond imagining, multiple arms projecting seemingly at random from parts of the creature's body.
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "It is done."
Primal terror is all you know as the indomitable tones of The Dark Hate thunder throughout Anzari-tarin, "Let the compact be sealed. Be born anew!"
The figure in the centre of the kneeling group writhes, a piercing shriek rising to a note barely on the edge of perception. Light builds within the chamber, casting stark illumination upon a place where the sun has never shined. The air grows heavy, a dreadful portent of something fast approaching fruition.
The skies of the overland roil black with rage as the Malevolent One manifests.
Thousands of daemons howl and shriek as Sartan, the Malevolent roars above the cacophony, "This land is Mine, you will live in the dark and you will kneel."
With a cataclysmic detonation that sets the entire cavern complex to shaking, the power building collapses inward, engulfing the supine figure in an arcane maelstrom.
Achaea holds its breath as slowly, the light in the cavern dims to reveal the aftermath of the working. A towering form rises from where the wreck had fallen, dwarfing even Ama-maalier as it straightens to its full height. And then, for the first time since the great sundering, the Tsol'teth knelt.
Innumerable voices resonate as one as Tlalaiad, the Genesis dictates, "We are. And Our time has come.
Extending an arm, the fledgling God places a hand upon the shoulder of the kneeling Ama-maalier.
Innumerable voices resonate as one as Tlalaiad, the Genesis dictates, "Rise, High priest. There is much to do."
Daemonic howls precede the appearance of the Malevolent One.
Cooper drops to one knee before Sartan.
You drop to one knee before Sartan.
Kitiara drops to one knee before Sartan.
(Mhaldor): Sartan says, "Hail Mhaldor."
Aegoth drops to one knee before Sartan.
You stand up.
(Mhaldor): You say, "Hail, Master!"
Alrena glides gracefully in from the down on open wings, the air rippling in her wake.
Cooper stands up.
(Mhaldor): Cooper says, "Hail, Lord Sartan!"
(Mhaldor): Ysela says, "Hail, Lord Sartan."
Aegoth stands up.
(Mhaldor): Aegoth says, "Lord Sartan, hail!"
Proficy drops to one knee before Sartan.
(Mhaldor): Uskawiyya says, "Hail, Lord Sartan!"
Sartan, the Malevolent says, "I see you have been busy."
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
HE ARMS PROPOSE success! The arms of Tlalaiad: Argent, eight butterflies volant Carnation and eight unicorns statant Purpure. In modern Achaean: Eight pink coloured butterflies flying and eight purple unicorns standing, on a silver background.
@Makarios So I'm guessing we should prep for month 3 of the event?
We'll have event posts up once they're all written and such, but I'm fine noting that the big part of the event is wrapped up. Obviously, you've not seen the last of the Tsol'teth (and their new god!), but you guys did a great job in the Underrealm and got all the barriers up, so the Tsol'teth at least are much more limited in most cases now.
The Tsol'teth are very much an ongoing antagonist - their roster is very, very scary.
You guys did very well though, we were expecting one of the worse endings at a couple of points in the fighting earlier!

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.

Oh, no. He's an actual god, not a Bal'met style calamity. He'll be sticking around (well, unless someone offs him, poor Thoth).
