Whoa, guys. I enjoy leering at poor @Mizik as much as the next person, but posting the link to his Photobucket stream for the two people who didn't know you can just erase part of the image URL and get to it anyway is a little out of line. And a little creepy.

The cat or the kookaburra? Come to Australia! My backyard has like 4 of them during the summer, 15 rainbow lorikeets, a million noisy miners, crested doves, 8 magpies and 3 butcherbirds on a good day. I only live in suburbia too :) That kooka usually laughs from my windowsill so it's a bit of a heart attack when waking up. Not my video but this is what I deal with:

"Faded away like the stars in the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."

    Cookieburra!!

I love those birds. We get them, a couple kingfishers, all the rainbow lorikeets, curloos, these little dove pigeons, and a pair of burdekin ducks that seems to be staying more than migrating away. Those ducks have come to nest on our block every year for as long as I've lived here.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

Kookaburra sitting in the old gum tree, merry merry king of the forest, he. Laugh, kookaburra, laugh, kookaburra, (words I never understood).
I always sang 'Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, merry little king of the bush is he.Laugh, kookaburra, laugh, kookaburra gay your life must be.'

They made us stop singing it because immature people kept laughing. :(
  • cats to counter the creepy?

I bet he sits there in the morning, laughing at you and your inability to sleep.

Those damn birds are famous worldwide as movie stock-sounds for, very strangely, monkeys in Africa.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
    Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!
    Krenim: ...We'll show ourselves out.

I haven't slept for nearly 2 decades in this house because of those birds! And @Kyrra we get the curlews and lapwings too, so we get noise between midnight-4am too! It's like a rotating roster of, "Let me scream you the song of my people" all day round D:
"Faded away like the stars in the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,

  • Please tell me that's a saber, so I can retain some respect for you.
