That's right, representing... Gaming in my underwear and ninja turtle sweater while excitedly jumping with the character. Ironically enough, I find myself still doing this exact behavior from time to time during intense games of Madden. Moved on to boxer briefs though - it's the wave of the future, and the best of both worlds!

I've had a good summer. Here's a bit of it.
The Luna moths have been busy this summer. Every morning I find one or two moths trying to hide on or near my work building. It's not just Luna moths of course, I see Polyphemus, Imperial, Sphinx, etc. The birds snack on them during the day and the bats go after them at night. This is a male Luna moth (note the antennae size and fullness).
My garden patch has been mildly successful. The yard is full of sunflowers.
This little hognose snake has been extra pissy lately, which means I get to hold him more (hurrah!).
Miss Toad enjoys a soak.

Monarch caterpillar. We're really concerned about the status of monarchs. Current reports seem to show that we're looking at the loss of migrating monarchs in the United States within the next ten to fifteen years.
I live next to the Mississippi River. I like to get up early and watch the fog on the water.
