I can't figure out if those actually worked or not. Right clicking 'image -> view image' works for me. I hate these forums and their complicated wizardry (that I am so very bad at).
Oh yeah and I turned 19 on Sunday but I'm still going through the pictures and videos trying to find one or two that are in any way shape or form appropriate. No luck so far.
Ecclesiastes 3:20: All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust.
I helped spread the plumeria on the casket, of course. After that, visited the graves of two of my grandparents, which was in a different part of the same cemetery. The weather was rainy, but it's still a very beautiful place, if difficult to capture in pictures under these conditions.
There weren't always houses here.
And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.
So yeah, this just happened. This is on a bridge on the way home from work, a bridge going over the local bay. After we got on the bridge, we quickly wondered why in the hell it wasn't already closed down. Apparently they closed it about five minutes after we got on it. Finally made it home.
and yet people complain about us having snakes and crocs in shopping centers during our floods…

Damn, @Kresslack. About the only thing stopping us from going to work here is downed trees. We get a lot of flooding but nothing like that. No doubt that road will probably be out all summer unless it's essential.
Yeah, roads here were already pretty shit. No idea how long it's going to take them to fix all of this, but it'll be a while. All the bridges connecting us to other cities were pretty badly damaged as well and might be closed for a while. Just got told not to come into work, so looks like its time to break out the innertubes or organize a riverboat gambling trip down Bayou Blvd.
Have not really checked forums recently, so lots to catch up on!
@Sybilla my crush on you just grows. I am worried though it will get to <insert Kenway here> levels of @Mizik crushing. Eek!
@Kresslack I don't know if I missed where you live, but stay safe! Are you and yours ok? Is your home habitable? That is reminding me of the CO floods a year or so ago...so scary.
Live in Pensacola, FL. And yeah, I'm fine since I was on high ground and had a swamp behind the house for everything to drain into. Lot of other people weren't so fortunate though.

They're chestnut-backed chickadees.
Informally, not properly named yet - but referred to as Righty and Tubs. (Tubs is the one on top here)
Their first response to me is always 'Where's my food?'
^ (that's Righty on the left, Tubs displaying why that's his name)
They haven't -quite- figured out yet what 'hold still, please' means.

This is what I woke up to, expecting to go to work today (doesn't look like that's happening):
And then there was this....
