Also have that Ibanez and have had for awhile. Use a Taylor 214ce now that I got for graduation. Love that thing.

@Dunn Of the people I know who play Ibanez, they tend to be pretty damn loyal. I've yet to find an acoustic that I prefer more that's in the same range of quality/price.

The only qualm I have with my Ibanez acoustic is that the string action is fairly high. I play both equally, though, when I am not using my electric (also an Ibanez). I also have a couple of Takamine acoustics as well. Love those things.

I've only played one Takamine, and it didn't have as natural of a sound as I would prefer from my acoustics. I played a Tanglewood and fell in love with it, but for $1900 it was out of my range at the time. 

Ever played the ukelele? Living on Hawaii for 10 years when I was younger, my mom knew a guy named Peter Lieberman who made guitars and uke's by hand. Comparable to Collings, if you've ever played one. Absolutely amazing sound quality (on both the guitars and uke's), and one day I will own one of his full-size pieces. 

And to get back on track with pics, HATS!@#!@$! hats are good.

They aren't for everyone. Personally, I sort of struggle to enjoy playing them (though I love the sound) because they're so small.
