I am so starstruck right now.  I just got to perform for 75 minutes (until they shooed me off for being too loud during Mephisto Waltz and disrupting a sales pitch to a wealthy couple) on what was Vladimir Horowitz's personal Steinway.  I went to the Steinway store on a lark to see if I could perform for people there since they would, of course, have top quality pianos.  Well, just so happens that the piano he traveled with, the piano that he used in the 1986 performance in Moscow, was there.  Immediately, I asked if I could perform on that, and they said "sure," after a particular person was done tuning a piano.  Most amazing touch on a piano I've ever played - the sheer range, the ease of everything, the absolute lack of fear that anything I played, no matter how soft, would not sound exactly how I meant it to.  I've never been so supremely confident in a result in my life.  Afterwards, they gave me a certificate for having played on it.

Many of the people who have moved the piano signed its underside.

@Ellodin - I was a concert pianist for a few years trailing the end of high school and a tiny bit afterwards, playing for Stetson College and a few other decently known organizations. I just want you to know how envious I am you got to do this. Fantastic.
