I got this from a friend a while back, but haven't gotten a chance to break it in yet. That's going to chance probably this weekend as my ARMA buddy from Alabama is coming down for a visit.
And this is my favourite piece of steel that I've had for many years now. I remember first getting it when I was about 13 and not being able to do much with it but admire it and swing it around clumsily. A bit of a historic piece, not really for sparring.
@Jozlyn - that's really gorgeous and you look so happy! I've been having a rough few days and you've given me the perfect idea for what to do tomorrow. I'm going for a loooong soothing walk to think my woman-bear thoughts alone.
@Sybilla I take hikes when I'm upset, it does help. I also go running, I hate running so much it pushes me into such a horrifying state that eventually I become too exhausted to be angry anymore. Sometimes I hula hoop. Other times I wrap myself in all the blankets I own, eat all the cookies, and watch every Harry Potter movie at least twice while writing shitty poetry in my sketchbook and drawing little monsters.
Ming (black, brown and white) and his brother Dingus (black and white) knocking taters to see who gets to stand on the top step. They're pretty cool little dudes. The white one in the background is Mr. Jones. He's lazy and wont fight for the top step.
These are some of the others that survived the summer, we had coyote and bobcat problems. Rosie's nose on the left, she's Mr. Jones' mother. Then we have the one I call Hey You Goat, she's Ming and Dingus' mother. The light brown one on the center-right is Dingleberry. The black and white buck on the far right is Tank. He is making that face because he just drank a healthy dose of his own urine. He is also Ming and Dingus' sire as well as Mr. Jones.
Last but not least we have Pepe on the right and Deuce on the left. Pepe is Deuce's offspring. They both love pears. As you can see they have a nice supply of snacks.
Arguing with a zealot is only slightly easier than tunneling through a mountain with your forehead.
Someone fix their eyes! They always look like demon spawn.

My grandma has had some pretty severe residual pain from a car accident back in 2011, so bad that she recently had to have back surgery. The surgery went fine, but didn't relieve any pain immediately after (which the doctor said was abnormal). She had to stay an extra two days in the hospital, but all-in-all, she's okay and the pain has almost completely subsided.
My grandma's pet Yorkie died a few years ago and she hadn't had the energy or time to get another. After she got out of the hospital, she decided it was time for another.
Someone who's fashionable. HALP! Gimme a step by step on how to look more professional? Please? I got a second interview, but need to look more professional.
@Daslin not sure about US rules, but over here guys tend to wear (for standard entry level office jobs):
• collared long sleeve shirt
• black/grey pants
• polished covered shoes, usually black but suede brown is ok
• grey blazer if it's the type of position that needs blazers.
• tie only if you're going to top jobs
Basically you're a-ok but maybe lose the suspenders unless you're going for hospitality or a job as a tailor (I use to manage a café and did the hiring, this was what I always looked out for). If you're still stuck, Google Mad Men but remove the suspenders.
All the best!

@Wysteria all I'm seeing with Mad Men is Christina Hendricks' cleavage, but I think I know what you mean.
Well unless you're a 18GG, I'm afraid you can't flirt your way into this job by shaking your milkshake, son. At least get a supportive bra if you must!

Also, I always look forward to @Jozlyn's pics. They make me feel like a real tree hugger
