    I love bats, they have little smushed up faces. Little brown bats look like mini flying rottweilers to me.

    No kids for me yet! We just took the pup because there's actually a big grassy field right beside it she likes to run around in. Hardly any kids go to that park anyways, most of them play at the park down the road that uses wood chips which is good because Lu kind of wants to eat little children right now haha.

    i rescued one that stunned itself the other day, the way it'd open it's tiny little bat mouth for water offering was unbelievably precious


    The poor little red bat in my photo was rescued by a fisherman, it had become tangled up in abandoned fishing line with its baby. Unfortunately the baby didn't make it. However this one seems to be okay! I cut it out of the line and checked the wings and hydration. Yay for saving bats!

    Toads are so gross. Having grown up in Queensland, damn toads make me squeal more than spiders do.

    Worked at McArthur River Mine for a week and the entire place is full of cane toads. I was so grateful I had ensuite accommodation and didn't need to shower with them. :(

    I love toads. They are one of my most favorite animals, however I do understand your discomfort.
