    Well, I figured that was a given. I'll trust most people training full contact to be able to properly pull a blow. What was it that you did, Cryenth, Kyokushin?

    Nevermind, just went through and found it. Shito-ryu is solid, props for sticking with it for so long. I'm rather eclectic when it comes to all things martial, so I have less of a core being and more of a toybox. You know the rule about not having a tool in your kitchen that only has one use? My 'kitchen' is -full- of that shit.

    Shito-ryu is great. Help that I have a pretty amazing dojo and instructor(s).

    Wado-ryu at the uni club is less awesome. Trading down from 52 kata to 15 is *hard*.

    i do renbukan karate and only just managed to get my brown belt... its actually a challenge to get it in our dojo we dont just give out belts cause you did the grading :) i have friends in others styles that have black belts but when it came to a spar i won... im very thankful because our sensei was 4th in the world for a while and was trained by Master Iba who is awesomely amazing at 70-80 or whatever he is, reverse-punches like a friggen shotgun

    It took me six years and an essay to get my black belt. I don't think my Sensei's ever been rank anything in the world, but eh.

    I studied under Kang-Lee Uk who studied under this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hwang_Kee

    I got to 2nd dan but never progressed to 3rd because that's where you have to start teaching, and I am not a good teacher.
