This is the newest edition to my family.

Thought it was time I fed my soul so I booked an impromptu trip to visit my boy in the Cape. I do not think I have ever been disappointed visiting, but the weather was utterly miserable and I was left wanting sun and warmth; the latter was lucky substituted with red wine and fireplaces on cozy wine estates:

This greeted me at Waterkloof estate as I entered and I knew that perhaps the bad weather, well, wasn't so bad after all. The tiered restaurant where we lunched was enveloped in solid glass panels so that one can appreciate the surroundings views; it add so much more to a dining experience when you have great views to accompany the great food. The reason the restaurant was so empty is because we started drinking wine at 10:30 AM when I took the pics (never too early to drink wine).


Some pics of the vineyards which, sadly, have already been harvested. The endless stretches of cultivated land is something to view; the photos here will never do it justice.


And then lastly a few pics when we drove down the coast. Nothing wrong just driving down the coast, listening to some good music. We made the odd stop here and there to catch some fresh air.

Yip, it is. Ugh, I so badly want to buy a small little place there-ish (Betty's) and make it pretty and go there whenever I want. The people are weirdly friendly, too. Kinda freaks a Pta-boytjie like me out. We were offered Gluhwein by some random old lady when we meandered through one of the small villages there (can't remember the name).

Unfortunately, I can be bought off with cute cats! Liked for cat. And short hair! Good job having the patience to maintain hair that long, though, I got mine to about chest length till I was sick of it.
