I'm not that familiar with JavaScript (or whatever that is), but I certainly hope that would be a syntax error. Though, come to think of it, mine would be too; shouldn't have commented my #code.

It won't give a syntax error. You can do things like "function myFunction()functioncode;nonfunctioncode;" or "if(condition)conditionalcode;nonconditionalcode;" in javascript. You'd probably deserve to be murdered for it, but it works.
